Some Great Stylists 6/29/2006

My husband and I have gone to Ruby's about 5 or 6 times in the past year. Only one of those haircuts has beeen bad. And sadly, it was really, really bad. Foolproof tip: only let a stylist with visible arm tattoos cut your hair. The music is great there too. more

Hair cut was good 6/26/2006

I have been to more expensive hair salons and I thought that Rudy's did a nice job on the cut. The staff was friendly and gave me a pretty nice looking cut. more

Don't go to Rudy's for a haircut! 8/18/2005

Eveyone always told me Rudy's was a find - cheap haircuts, with hip stylists. That was not what I found. I got the single worst haircut in my life there...from a guy who, while cutting my hair (horribly), told me that my cut was so easy that noone could mess it up. He proceeded to do just that, all the while not listening to what I wanted and completely doing his own thing, despite my repeated requests. Don't bother with Rudy's unless you are in the military! more

Ok haircuts, great atmospere 8/14/2005

I've been going to Rudy's off and on for years now, and I truly believe a good haircut is a matter of chance. It all depends on who you happen to get sat with. You have to find a stylist who knows what they're doing and stick with them. I've gotten more good haircuts than bad ones, but they seem to go through stylists as often as I change my underwear. The atmospere is second to none, though. Always have fantastic music playing, not generic muzak or the generic stuff you'd hear on the radio. more

bad cut 8/11/2005

I received the WORST hair cut of my ENTIRE life here at Rudy's about a month ago. First, I had to wait about 25 minutes before they could even fit me in, okay, but then I got a quicky "so - called" hair cut that was terrible! And to top it all off, it wasn't even the cut that I had asked for, terrible service and listening skills, I will never go here again. more

Cheap Haircut 5/2/2005

Quality varies greatly at Rudy's, depending on the individual stylist, but if you find one that you like, it is a quick and cheap place to get a decent cut. more
