I've had my review "disappear" several times. I'll just keep reposting it. It is interesting that the glowing reviews that all appear to be written by the same person stay up, perhaps Citysearch doesn't know Ruby Room has their staff post false reviews? Anyway.....
Rude staff, rude owner. I went in there because I had some time to burn before an appointment down the street. After being ignored by everyone in there I was poking around in the Bumble & bumble section. A female with a blonde bob came up and said "This would be really good for your hair, it will help with the dryness and split ends.". Perhaps they're used to making sales by insulting customers into buying stuff but that doesn't work on me. I shot her a dirty look and left. I later emailed Ruby Room to inform the manager/owner about their staff. The response was from the owner and (surprise!) she was the one with the blonde bob. She claimed she hadn't come at me with anger in her heart (whatever that means and it wasn't what I had emailed about). When I explained that she tried to insult a potential customer in hopes of a sale I got more of the new-age babble about her heart. I stopped responding after that.
Avoid. Read all the negative reviews. Notice how they are all about different experiences, but all poor experiences. Read all the positive reviews, notice how they all sound the same.

I just saw the owner's response. There is no anger in my heart. Perhaps if you had gone to college and majored in a business field you would understand that insulting customers is the wrong way to increase business. Would you like to share some patchouli? Or would you like to run a real business? I frequent a business near you and every time I pass you are empty. Perhaps you should work on your customer skills and not what is on your heart. Also; you never denied what I said happened. So according to you, you are being kind when you tell someone they have dry hair and split ends? Well I tell you this with love in my heart: you are rude, haggard, emaciated, 10 years out of style and have no sense on how to deal with people. I can recommend some Derma's for your skin issues, with love and from my heart.
