Went with a group of 12, with a reservation for the semi-private room, and had to wait almost 90 minutes for the food! They didn't tell us what was hapening - didn't apologize for...

Impeccable service, consistently delicious classic Thai dishes, all perched half a storey above the action at Roosevelt and NE 65 Street. Love their soup with chicken and coconut milk! more

I got sick.... 12/28/2005

My favorite food is Thai and with this one being so close to work I would eat there often. The food was never the best Thai food.... but Thai food is better, in my opinion, then most other kinds. However I got horrible food poisoning the last time I ate there and will never eat there again. more

It's good to know that they have underground parking. All of their dishes are adequate, with a pretty good Pad Thai. Their curry dishes are not incredibly consistent, but that just makes it more interesting. more

Sweet and Spicy Fragrant Food 12/22/2005

Royal Palm is a hidden treasure located on 65th and Roosevelt. The restaurant is cozy and has beautiful artwork and tastefully decorated interior space. Sit at the bar to watch the chefs hard at work making a huge variety of authentic tasty dishes. They've recently added some new dishes, like the Popeye Chicken dish, which is served over fresh spinach, and is simply amazing. The stuffed wontons have real Dungeness Crab, and the satay are tender and juicy. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Every meal that we've enjoyed there has been a memorable experience. Its the perfect spot to lunch with an old friend or have a romantic dinner with someone you love. more

Thai Food in Roosevelt 8/25/2005

Located on Roosevelt and NE 65th St., Royal Palm offers the usual Thai fair in a low-lit dining room. Seating choices include tables and chairs or the traditional Thai option of a low table and sitting on the floor with your shoes off. The food is fine, prices comparable to other places. more
