My only complaint about Rodolfo Valentin is that I will like to find the time to go each week for my shampoo and hair style, no other salon hair stylists can blow-dry my hair like Claudio does. The problem is that I work and live almost two hours from them and I don’t have other choice than to go to the salon close to me which is awful! But still I need get my hair washed. Furthermore I must say that at Rodolfo’s salon even the shampoo is an experience! The shampoo is completed with a heavenly cranial massage at the end that let me relaxed for the rest of the day. When it is the time for my hair color touch up, then I will be traveling whatever takes me to get to them, I will not let for any reason anyone else do my color. I use Pia, a lady that is very meticulous while working in my hair color, but if for any reason she is not there I will let any of the other hair colorists at the salon do it. They keep the formula in their system and any of them strictly follow the formula. Some of my friends like to betray their hair colorist as soon as they go on vacation and use that opportunity to try to get their hair color in another salon as an exciting experience. Most of them feel sorrow after doing it because not only the color most of the time does not come out good, but they don’t have the courage to confront their colorist. I never would do that! I was at the Rodolfo Valentin New York City best hair color Salon after finding that they are the winners of the top Hair colorist award, also about hair extensions. I must add that their haircuts are amazing. The overall salon in general is a wonderful hair salon. Pia did my hair color and highlights, and then I was honored to get their famous hair extensions by Rodolfo himself. The result is astounding; the hair infusion extensions have the same texture than my hair, it is impossible to see the difference between the extension and my own natural hair! Then Rodolfo continued with a perfect personalized haircut, the upshot? Of course precisely what I wanted to have, also what else can be predictable from a hair stylist like Rodolfo, just MAGNIFICENT! more

This is the best hair color salon. When it is about hair color I think my opinion counts….I’ve been client from the most prominent hair color salons in NYC and my hair color has been done for the most famous hair colorists also in Europe and I must say, Rodolfo Valentin is the best hair color salon I’ve ever been. My hair color done by their hair color experts is extremely natural, it seems like I’ve born with it! For some people probably it is not important, for me it is, I don’t like fake colors, even the highlights are perfect. About haircuts?, well since Rodolfo Valentin cut my hair I don’t need to go so often like before to the salon for blow-dry, with one weekly visit is more than enough. If in the middle of the week I need to wash my hair (I cannot go for long time as my friends do without washing my hair), when I wash my hair myself because no time, it dries naturally and every single hair goes to the right place! Also Rodolfo is not only the top hair stylist/ salon in New York City, it is also the most affordable! It was the haircut I have ever have, also at a low price, I paid in his Long Island location only $175. Cheap for the superb quality! Rodolfo Valentin Reviews are unbelievable! so I decided to try their services myself last week. I did an appointment at the New York City Salon for consultation. As soon as I walked in there were two ladies in the reception desk with a big, welcoming smile which made me feel very comfortable from the very first minute I was there. They escorted me to the changing rooms and provided a robe. Then while waiting I was offered a glass of champagne by the cute floor manager of name Dennis. Even if I was waiting for around 20 minutes I was fascinated watching the parade of several customers leaving with gorgeous hair. Some very long, some medium length but all of their hair colors truly stunning. I realized that I was in the right salon for first time in my life. All my previous salons experiences were a disaster, first about haircuts, I was never able to get the perfect haircut and I must say that I have been to the most expensive and famous hair stylists in New York City. Then my hair color always dull without life. After being customer of one of the most famous hair colorists in NYC for years this is another reason why I come in to Rodolfo Valentin salon. Until I found Rodolfo Valentin in Madison Avenue, he really works like most Europeans he is a one-stop-shop where I get everything I want, best quality: the colors, the haircut, blow-dry and his well trained staff makes you feel very confident, they are multifaceted, you can feel very lucky if you get Rodolfo (probably the reason why his clientele keep him as the best secret of the city to meet him is an experience and the good news are that you do not have to climb narrow steps, the private elevator opens into the old world chic salon where the high society of New York frequent. The quality of services offered at Rodolfo’s is legendary, but nobody reports about the facilities, this is the most hygienic salon in the city! Although that they don’t have spa at the Madison Avenue location (they have a Long Island spa voted the four top day spas in USA by American spa) his NY salon feels like you are getting hair services in a great spa: first highlight is the elevator that opens into the salon floor, the sense of privacy is enormous! It feels like you’re coming into a friend’s home. There is a center table offering complimentary snacks (unbelievable!), the receptionist will help you change into a fresh robe. Rodolfo Valentin salon is the best hair salon in New York or probably there is no other salon to match with. Best hair extensions, best hair colorists, best staff, best service, just the best of the best. What can I say that hasn't been said 300 times! I had so much attention at his salon - I thought I was a movie star for a day! Anyway - went to Rodolfo to replace my existing horrendous hair extensions that I had for only 3 weeks from a hair extension salon in Queens that promotes themselves as the best and unique. I swear those things must have been made from horse hair. After patiently answering all of my questions, I decided to take a chance and buy his hair extension system. Now, after having them installed, I walk down the street now and people stare at my hair. Today, the bank tellers at my local bank were gathered around me admiring my pretty hair! more

I was at the Rodolfo Valentin Long Island Beauty Center Salon that is the winner of the best of Citysearch in Hair color, hair extensions, haircut, highlights, and also in general as a hair salon. So I decide to try all those award winning services! Maritza did my hair color and highlights, and then Franco put their famous hair extensions that are super natural, follow by a tailored haircut, the result? Of course exactly what can be expected from an award winning place like that! FABULOUS! At the beginning I was very concern that the master Rodolfo Valentin was not there, I understand that he is only at the Long Island location on Saturdays but that is the day that I must be with my family and they will get very upset if I spent the day in the salon instead of being in home. I didn’t have other choice than to go Wednesday. But I certainly think that I didn’t miss anything, Rodolfo obviously has trained his staff to perfection and they have learned up to the most minimal detail how to please customers. Since the second I walked into the salon I was greeted by the warm front desk personnel, they were so good that I can remember the name of one of them: “Dennis”, sweet and extremely friendly. He helped me to change into my robe and walked me to the back to introduce me to the hair colorist. They don’t forget about you as most salons do, they are constantly around asking if we need something, offering drinks including champagne and serving snacks. I left the salon feeling like I was there several times before. The atmosphere is so friendly that they make you feel part of the family. My husband shouted sexy! When looking at my hair… my children loved the hair extensions and my new hair color. I can wait to come back to the salon, next time I promise to try the spa from where I saw several people coming down from the spa floor with a great smile. One of them while coming out from the elevator next to my hair station commented to me, this is the best spa I have ever been. I also noticed that their Spa is the Citysearch winner in overall as a “spa” in addition to deep Tissue Massage, Eyebrown threading and shaping, skin care, facial also as a nail salon. After reading two of the negative reviews posted in this Rodolfo Valentin Salon profile I can only say that must be a monster or a very jealous competitor desperate for Rodolfo Valentin success and famously in the beauty world. Rodolfo Valentin deserves to be respected not only as a professional that cannot be match by others, but also as a human being of great heart. Who in this world have donated one thousand wigs for cancer patients? As Rodolfo has done just recently past October 2011 for the breast cancer awareness month? Have any other salons that are claiming to be also a factory that supplies other salons donated wigs for women or men suffering hair loss due to cancer? They will never do, they are money hungry people that are desperate for others success. They insist and persist in posting bad reviews to any Rodolfo profiles they can find. In their hungriness they do not realize that everybody knows that Rodolfo is an angel. They also always are writing reviews with the same content using terms. This must be their cheap website maker from India that is desperate from his Astoria; Queens’s client argues and does not know what to do to make them happy. It is so obvious that is nearby funny! As Rodolfo own words “ I feel petty for them”… “ I can only say that they should learn more”….The real true is clearly exposed by the hands of the artist and I am an artist”… Sorry guys for your frustration! more

When I was in Europe everybody was talking about Rodolfo Valentin, and all have the same opinion, the best hair stylist in the world. While in Paris, I was a Jamin restaurant and the lady in the next table asked me who does my hair, when I mention his name she told me that she remember him when he was the right hand of Alexandre de Paris. She said that Rodolfo has done her hair in Alexandre in two opportunities but then he left to open his New York salon, she also remember when Rodolfo uses to do the hair of Grace Kelly and Sofia Loren there. When leaving she also told me that she was jealous of me for having one of the best hair stylist she have ever meet. Similar thing happened in Zurich. While in Rome, a lady came close to me and asked me where I live, when I responded in New York she told me “I know who does your hair""...I said ""really"", tell me his name, she promptly answered, Rodolfo! I said, how you know, she said: only one person can do the hair color you have and that is him! Now I am very extremely proud walking in the street knowing that I truly have the best. more

I see the salon is listed as Best in CitySearch, but if you look into it, it is only for Men's Grooming. When I called for a shave, the person who answered the phone had no idea of what I was talking about. Really? Best in CitySearch for Men's Grooming, and you don't even do anything in the category you won? Read all these reviews, they all sound so fake, same person must of written them. more
