Delicious food! We all really enjoyed our meals- watch out though 2 stars is still spicy!

Terrible. Not only did we wait an hour and a half for the food, they forgot our rice and I don't even know what the heck I got that was supposedly sweet & sour chicken. it was a c...

Don't order from here! Glass in food and they didn't care! 3/10/2009

Oh my god, we've ordered from here several times, but just tonight my husband bit into glass in the orange chicken! The worse part is when we called to complain and warn them they barely cared. The person who answered couldn't understand that we didn't want to eat any of the remaining food and wanted a full refund. We had to argue to get the refund! more

Rice and Spice is Nice at twice the price and thrice the vice 12/11/2006

These people do what the masters of chefery do: create a good balance of salty, sweet, bitter, sour and spicy. The Tom Young Goong smelled so savory and tangy with lime but the first taste was delightfully sweet and refreshing. The broth was thick with savory ingredients. Plus, there were actually more than THREE prawns in there! What a twist! The Phad See Ew was outstanding. Noodles were perfectly seasoned and had that wonderful succulent texture I'm always trying to find. It had tiny patches of dry/crisp bits that added to the wonderful texture. The broccoli was fresh and crunchy. Chicken was a little dry but that's difficult to avoid. The recommended Pumpkin curry will be recommended again by me. Creamy sweet chunks of pumpkin eccentuated the classic Thai red curry. The spiciness was very refined and sneaks up on you after several bites. But it's so good that you're willing to suffer through the pain. Word of warning, their spice measurements lean towards the spicy side. Two stars would be death for the sensitive and gives seasoned spice-eaters the sniffles. I'd suggest downgrading one star from what you normally order to actually enjoy the wonderful flavors in their entirety. We called for delivery at 9:30 and they got here a little after 10 (when they close). The person who took our order was very helpful and extremely friendly. I expect their service in-person to be just as welcoming. Highly recommended. more

Yummy Thai! 12/5/2005

Rice N Spice has never let me down--I can go there and expect great food and service. Like most Thai restaurants, you can have a fairly quick, and inexpensive meal, but Rice N Spice is quality. It has a very nice atmosphere, and there is room to go in a big group. If you love Thai (or even if you don't), you will love Rice N Spice. I have gone with friends who aren't crazy about Thai food, who have been surprised at their enjoyment of their dinner and rave about it afterward. You will enjoy Rice N Spice! more

spicy thai 9/13/2005

Rice & Spice is a great Thai food restaurant downtown. We love walking there from work and sharing all different sorts of food. The portions are huge and you can choose from a variety of dishes- pad thai is always my favorite. There is enough spice to live up to its name and keep you drinking water or the tea they provide and enough rice to go around your whole table. more
