Reynolds Exteriors Inc. does excellent work! 3/11/2014

Reynolds Exteriors Inc. worked on my roof for me. They took off old vents and repaired my roof in the area where the new vents went up. I also had them install new gutters. They did an excellent job. The technicians were professional and timely. Everything looks great. I highly recommend this company. more

VERY Expensive! 2/11/2014

This will be very short and to the point. RESPONSE FROM Reynolds Exteriors Inc: Thank you for your interest in our company and your review of our PRICING. We wish you the best in your selection of companies with your re-roofing project. Be careful when dealing with budget roofers; if a problem emerges down the road they may be impossible to find to fix the problem and probably do not offer the warranties that our company offers in conjunction with GAF Roofing Products, one of the major US manufacturer of shingles. In fact, here is a recent review that might be of interest since it outlines the pros of dealing with a reputable company. https://scontent-a-atl.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/t1/1901644_647571871975226_2130107504_n.jpg more

Fast, easy and welcoming experience 2/10/2014

I called Reynolds Exteriors because I needed a roof. Henry gave me some samples to try out and they went ahead and installed it very quickly. The job was done about a year ago but I still remember how professional the workers were. RESPONSE FROM Reynolds Exteriors Inc: thank you for the great words Harold! more

Great people and great job! 2/6/2014

Reynolds Exteriors Inc completely resided our house. It was our first time using them, and they were very communicative. The foreman for the installation kept in close touch with my husband about when they would be out. For the most part they were always timely. We just felt they did a great job with the whole thing. They're great people! more

Very pleased with their work. 1/16/2014

Reynolds Exteriors Inc. installed the overhang in the back of my house, and they also covered all of the posts on my front porch. It took them two days to complete everything. My only complaint was that they told me that someone would come to inspect the work after it was complete, but nobody ever came to do that. My son was also unhappy because the finished project did not turn out exactly as they initially said it would. Other than that, they workers were very professional, and I was very pleased with the finished product. more

Very professional 1/6/2014

I contacted Reynolds Exteriors about fixing my roof. They sent a gentleman out and he gave a very professional and structured presentation. He provided the quote and all the necessary information I asked for and promised that his team could complete the job in one day which they delivered on. Overall it was a very satisfying experience. more

We will recommend Reynolds. The quality of the roof was excellent and the crew was very professional. 12/29/2013

We are very pleased with the roof we purchased from Reynolds Exteriors. The work was done on the day promised and even though it went a half day longer than anticipated they did not leave to go to another job. The roof color is true to the color shown in the brochure and it looks great. We have received several compliments. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up the mess as they worked. At the end of the job my front yard looked great. My only recommendation for the future would be to call the day before to let the customer know what time the crew will arrive and how long they will stay. Overall the experience was great and we would recommend Reynolds Exteriors to everyone. more

Average 12/11/2013

Reynolds Exteriors Inc installed 13 or 14 windows for me and one sliding glass door. It was my first time using them, and the installer who did the work wasn't very professional. I liked everyone else at Reynolds that I dealt with, but the installer ruined everything for me. That's why I gave them the three star ratings. When he put in the windows, I thought he should have put them in from the outside. Instead he installed them from the inside and banged them into place with a hammer. As a result he damaged the moldings around the windows. It wasn't like was using a rubber mallet, he was using a regular hammer to bang the windows into place. So the possibility of him damaging the window frame itself was always a possibility. He also left all the old caulking around the windows. The professional thing to do, to me, would have been to scrape it off. It looks like garbage, so eventually I will have to go out and scrape it off myself. I didn't like the way he did his work. He also burned my carpet. To me, he was a very unprofessional installer. I'm torn, because I would like to separate my experience with everyone else at Reynolds from the installer. The sales representative I worked with was very helpful. When I called to complain about a problem with the sliding glass door, they were very helpful and came out to solve the issue. But honestly I probably wouldn't recommend them because I don't know which installer you might get. I couldn't in good faith tell someone to use them, then have them get the installer I had. I would feel bad about that. RESPONSE FROM Reynolds Exteriors Inc: Mr. Ryder, I am going to be addressing this with my production manager. -Henry more

Great Presentation........Poor Followup 12/5/2013

I took about a month to think about this and then decide to do the write up. There is a lot to think about and so not sure what to even start to be upset about but here it goes. I heard about Reynolds when a guy came to the door and I had been thinking of doing an upgrade to the roof so decided to make an appointment. I was greeted in a few days by Dave and he was great. He took a lot of time to show me how everyone is supposedly individually certified (more on that later) and how he absolutely 110% guaranteed that I would be absolutely thrilled (more on that later too). He told me about all the extensive testing and certification they did to earn all these awards and certifications and showed me dozens of happy letters that people wrote. He said how the company is meticulous and even a little $@!#% retentive about getting everything perfectly right and how they have gone through great lengths to make sure the customer is absolutely thrilled. He asked if I was sufficiently impressed with all the awards/credentials, but I advised since I don't know roofing, I don't know the true value of the awards they got but I was taking it on faith that everything he was saying was good. In fact, there were so many good things, he had to come back a 2nd day to talk about all the neat things they have and all my options. And so, on day 2 I ordered the roof, and made choices of style and color. I told him there were really only 2 concerns I had. 1 there was a spot on the roof where the wood was dipped in, and that I wanted to work with the new gutters people so that I could arrange a new spot for my rain barrels. He said that shouldn't be a problem except "we don't do structural repair" and "we aren't the gutter people". I figured it would be all worked out in the end. I got a call saying that they would be moving up their instillation schedule and actually come a few days early. I wasn't going to be home all that day but they said it would be fine. I had a crew show up pretty much on time, but none of them really spoke English. I'm not sure where all of them were certified (in Spain???) but I am curious if they even have documentation to work here. Still, I didn't have much time to deal with it. I had appointments to make myself. When I came back, I finally saw a foreman type person (at least he spoke English) and I pointed out the divit in the back roof. He said he would take a look and take care of it. And so, when I came back home at the end of the day, imagine my surprise. I found the tiles on the roof to be curled up and uneven, and the divit still in the back of the roof. Still I figured they maybe weren't done yet so I waited to see. The next day. No gutter people. I waited a few hours and had to go. Still no gutter people. I called the office and someone said they were all very busy with instillations would get there when they could. I left by 1 in the afternoon. Still no call or word. When I came back a few hours later... they had come, installed, and put down gutterspouts and when I said I was hoping to talk with someone about making arrangements for rain barrels, one of the workers said "they were full of water and too late to do anything about it". And with that. they were gone.... Still curled tiles, and still a divit.... I was so disappointed in the look and presentation, that I called Dave back up. I got a call from Gale who wanted to do the much promised walk around (I was told we would do a walk around and inspect everything to make sure it would be to my liking) and I said I had some concerns. He was very anxious to pick up my signed paper saying I approve, so he came by on Sunday night after I came home from work. I commented that it was DARK out so how could we possibly do an inspection. I said he figured I was naturally happy with everything. When I told him I had a list of grave concerns, there was a definite shift in his stance, a sigh and seemed utterly flabbergasted. I told him some of my problems. I had talked to Dave as well and they kept saying how they don't do structural, and that the wood was all good on the roof. I said I don't know anything about roofing, but I know a dent when I see one and it was still there. They said the tiles naturally curl when first put in when it is cold (it was about 65 degrees that day) and that it was all fine and he really wanted me to sign the paper. I said that was the only guarantee that I would ever hear from anyone ever again so I didn't. He was upset but left. Two days later (in daylight) Dave said he had a 'long talk' with the boss. They said the didn't understand what the problem was. The then (rather insultingly) tried to point out how pretty the color of the tiles were and reminded me again about how nice the ventilation was. He was trying to seems to deflect the argument and snowball me with pictures and issues. I said there were also nails still left in my yard. Indeed when Gale came by HE stepped on a nail too. There were nails in the yard, in my air conditioner, and plastic washers as well all over the yard. In the end, it took them 3 days to come up with this but they said the wood wasn't bent in, my rafter is bent OUT. Since they don't do structural they didn't touch it. It took all that to finally tell me that ...... it could have been answered the day after they finished but they kept talking about colors, and tiles, and guarantees... Very distracting, very indirect.... Never taking the time to address my concerns. I don't know roofs but I know I wasn't happy, I felt nauseated that the roof looked a little worse than before with the curled tiles. All the leaves on the roof were simply thrown down on the on the bushes and they knocked down one of my boarders surrounding the front bushes and never put back. And oh yea, did I mention NAILS everywhere??? Dave promised that he would have someone to come by to sweep up for the nails... that was the end of October. As of the 5th of December, they still haven't come. The tiles have flattened out, the dip (or is that bulge???) is still there, and I am making payments now.... But they never came to take their sign down, and never cleaned up their mess all the way. I'm not talking about the odd hidden nail, these were obvious and easy to see if you were taking the time and looking. So much for customer service and follow through. They may use nice stuff, it may last 20 years, but the distracting and carnival salesman tactics demean the company and their professionalism. Not sure if anyone will read this, not sure if anyone cares. But they say you only get one chance to make a 1st impression and Reynolds Exteriors not only missed that mark, but never really did anything to address their mistakes. I had two other people looking to redo their roofs, and needless to say, they lost two potential customers. more

Excellent, professional service that eased my mind 11/11/2013

Reynolds Exteriors provided me with excellent, professional service when I hired them to wrap the wood trim on my house. Everything turned out perfect, and the work looks great. I am very happy getting comments from people who see it for the first time. At first they think I had the trim painted. But when I correct them and show them up close, they are always very impressed. It looks really good! When I first hired Reynolds Exterior, I had a little question about the work when it started. The boss came and explained what was being done, and after that I was completely satisfied and had no problems. The gentleman who did the work was very professional and helpful, answering my questions and showing me straight-out what he was doing. It was a very big job and decision for me, financially and in taking care of my house. The staff of Reynolds Exterior was very helpful throughout the process. They answered all my questions and eased my mind. more

Precise estimates, professional crew, and now we have a gorgeous roof! 11/8/2013

My mother and I needed a new roof for our two story home. Reynolds Exteriors Inc. worked on our neighbor's home. They came to our home to introduce themselves and offered to do some measurements on the spot, but we weren't ready, so we had them come back at another time. Justin came to do an estimate on our home. He knew his job, explained everything, and provided no pressure at all to our sale. I was very impressed by this, and I found him to be so polite. They even sent another gentleman to double check the measurements. The estimate ended up matching the final price exactly. They also really worked to make it affordable for my mother and me. All of the people we worked with were pleasant. The installation went very smoothly. We did not hear a single bad word spoken from the installation crew. I thought it was going to be a two-day job, but they finished everything in one day, even with a slight delay due to traffic in the area. They stayed until the job was completely finished. They cleaned up everything perfectly to the point where we could not find a single remnant of their work. They even went over the grass with a magnet in order to pick up any magnets on the lawn. They were very, very good. I liked their professionalism, their style, and their language. The roof came out beautifully. We ordered a hunter green, and it is gorgeous. We definitely won't be needing another roof on this house any time soon. They even offered a guarantee on it. I would highly recommend this family-owned business to anyone. We were extremely pleased. RESPONSE FROM Reynolds Exteriors Inc: Thank you for the kind words! & Happy Veterans Day! more

Really good 11/4/2013

Had 14 of our windows replaced. Salesman was friendly and showed us all the options. Wife and I loved the options so we went with them! more

I have no complaints about this company or their workers. 10/9/2013

From the beginning, the Reynolds Exteriors salesperson who was assigned to this project was very helpful. He assisted me with making choices, taking into account all of the things that I wanted. He did the shopping to get the supplies that I preferred because of color and everything else. It has been a delightful experience. I think of them as wonderful people to work with. more

The work was done quickly. 10/7/2013

We were really happy with the Reynolds Exteriors Inc. installation team we had. They installed exterior trim at our home, which happened and was completed a lot sooner than we originally expected. That part really stood out about their service. more

Thorough and professional job. 10/4/2013

Reynolds Exteriors replaced the wood on our house with a plastic material. They moved the gutters, put in brand new material, and then put the gutters back in. They did a pretty great job. The workers are pretty friendly and competent. They're good guys. They work very fast and are thorough. They are very professional and did a good job. They worked constantly on it. It took them about three or four days. It all turned out great; it looks really nice. Sometimes things take time to reveal themselves, but so far it looks great. more

Giving a 3 for quality is being generous. 9/6/2013

The contractor that Reynolds Exteriors Inc. sent out wasn't very professional. I'm still not happy with the sliding glass door, but just didn't want to deal with them anymore. I have siding on my house that's a yellowish color, and they put in white instead that doesn't match any of the rest of the house. It looks ghetto to me. I've already complained, they didn't come out to fix it, and I'm really just tired of dealing with it at this point. more

Great window work but not fully satisfied 8/28/2013

I hired Reynolds Exteriors Inc to replace my window. The salesman informed me that they would have a hard time matching the side panel. I told him to get the installers to paint over the side panel with a color that would match. After talking it over, he gave me an estimate. When I arrived to see the finished project, I asked about the paint, and they said they forgot to buy paint for the siding. Then, they called their boss, who told them not to do it. I didn't have to according to my contract, but I gave them my payment just be over and done with them. I called the manager and told him about what happened. He checked the contract and informed me that there was nothing in there about painting the side panels. The salesman must have not included it. He apologized and told me the salesperson would give me a call to follow-up, but he never did. Honestly, the window itself looks great, and I'm satisfied with what work they did there, but in the end, I still have to paint the panels myself, even though this was not what we originally talked about. I took their business sign out of my front yard because I didn't want my neighbors to call the same company. Then, yesterday when I came home, a new sign was there. more

Awesome 8/25/2013

Very pleased with the trim work. The installers were curtious, professional, and excellent. Renold's sales rep Preston was a pleasent young man and made the transaction painless. Thankyou all for a job well done. Sincerely, Marian and Steve Barkow more
