Review content:
Reynolds Exteriors Inc installed 13 or 14 windows for me and one sliding glass door. It was my first time using them, and the installer who did the work wasn't very professional. I liked everyone else at Reynolds that I dealt with, but the installer ruined everything for me. That's why I gave them the three star ratings. When he put in the windows, I thought he should have put them in from the outside. Instead he installed them from the inside and banged them into place with a hammer. As a result he damaged the moldings around the windows. It wasn't like was using a rubber mallet, he was using a regular hammer to bang the windows into place. So the possibility of him damaging the window frame itself was always a possibility. He also left all the old caulking around the windows. The professional thing to do, to me, would have been to scrape it off. It looks like garbage, so eventually I will have to go out and scrape it off myself. I didn't like the way he did his work. He also burned my carpet. To me, he was a very unprofessional installer. I'm torn, because I would like to separate my experience with everyone else at Reynolds from the installer. The sales representative I worked with was very helpful. When I called to complain about a problem with the sliding glass door, they were very helpful and came out to solve the issue. But honestly I probably wouldn't recommend them because I don't know which installer you might get. I couldn't in good faith tell someone to use them, then have them get the installer I had. I would feel bad about that. RESPONSE FROM Reynolds Exteriors Inc: Mr. Ryder, I am going to be addressing this with my production manager. -Henry
