Great Customer Service! 4/24/2015

R&D Heating and Cooling came by to service our air conditioner and they were great. I appreciated how they were very responsive and followed up with e-mails. The technician arrived on time and was very thorough in his service and explaining what he did. I highly recommend R&D! more

Genuine Pleasure! 4/7/2015

It was a genuine pleasure to work with R & D! My salesman, Ron, was knowledgeable, pleasant, and honest. He knows the business from install to real time use. He knows the manufacturers and was able to pair my need up with the correct system and manufacturer. I needed help with programming my remote access thermostat and Chris could not have been more helpful! What a pleasure it is to be able to work with a company that puts customer service and satisfaction as a priority! R & D was and continues to be a first rate company! more

BEWARE of R&D! 4/3/2015

R&D is a completely rip-off vendor to use. They are known for eluding you to pay 10 times the amount for a part and service. They charged me >$350 for a part that just cost $50. They are not honest and will lure you into this telling that your HVAC will turn worse if its not repaired right away. I trusted them and had them repair my HVAC. After they left, I researched online how much would it normally cost to do the service they did and to my surprise they charged me double the amount they should have. I called and spoke to so called "General Manager" and her answer to me was, I should have declined the service to begin with. I was shocked for this response and un-happy! I am going to report them to the BBB for this rip-off! Also, I am working on giving my review in every online portal as possible. Please BEWARE of this company! more

Winter Maintenance with excellent service 3/13/2015

We had Jose here today to do our winter maintenance. He went above and beyond, taking the time to answer my questions and educate me. He also gave attention to an issue that we have in our oldest room and has a "next step" ready in case that doesn't do the trick. more

Very diligent. 3/5/2015

R&D Heating and Cooling has been very helpful. I have had issues with my generator, but it is still under warranty, and R&D was listed as one of the companies to contact. Chris Cavanaugh has been great to work with. He has a wealth of knowledge, and has worked diligently to resolve my issue and get service techs out. I would recommend his service. more

When he arrived, I was greeted by a very professional, friendly, and personable technician, Jose Navario. Jose troubleshooted the reason why our humidifier/steamer was not working and explained the problem to me in detail. If possible, I would like to request having Jose as our technician for all of our service and maintenance appointments! more

We had a preventative maintenance check on our system. Our experience was great with the technician that came out. He arrive promptly at 8:30 AM, was careful by using booties into our house. He proceeded doing the check both to the inside unit and then outside unit. At the end of the call, he explained to me in detail what he did and went through all the steps one by one to make sure I understood what he did. He also told me about the generators sold by R & D. I highly recommend Jose to anyone that needs their system check. He was professional, polite and thorough. I commend you for having such a fine young men representing your company. more

R&D Heating and Cooling offers prompt and professional service. They're very responsive. Every time I call them they are able to make an appointment immediately. The technicians are very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. They fix things right away. I would highly recommend them. more
