I went in for a simple oil change and was told it would be s 45 minute wait. After an hour and 25 minutes, they finally pulled my car in. Two people who came in for the same thing got their keys back and left. A person who came in after me actually got service before me because he was questioning the wait. I will find another place to do business. more

Want oil all over your garage? 8/5/2013

They used the same oil pan gasket they pulled off the car instead of using a new one and my car leaked oil all over my driveway and garage. I ended up taking the car to the dealership and paying for a second oil chance in less than a week (was advised not to have Precision fix the issue for fear of further damage) and they showed me the crushed (used) gasket that was put back on my car and a new one. I took both items to Precision and they refused to refund the cost of their faulty oil change. Also, they are a quick change place but kept my car for THREE HOURS for a simple oil change. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone. The person at the desk actually YELLED at me. more

Terrible service, untimely, unprofessional. Don't wait up for them to call you! \r \r Wouldn't recommend they do anything but an oil change. \r \r Will not be returning as my time does not matter to them. And, neither does their own WORD. So, not to be trusted. \r \r Buyer Beware. more

This Will Stick With Me! 6/23/2012

Friendly, well skilled in trade and the ability to stop and explain what I need to understand even when the time clock is calling them at the end, of what i know from passing by several times, was a very busy day. So give the crew a well deserved ?atta? boy, that is what will stick with me long after the memory of an oil change has faded and that is what will have me returning when oil change time rolls around again. Dishonest Business with unexperienced mechanics on staff 5/30/2012

When we first took our car for a simple $250 repair that they said would take 2 hours ended up taking 5 days due to the mechanics lack of knowledge on car repair. I believe the mechanic purposely broke a part to my car that lead to a $500 repair bill and because they have no real boss (Just a very useless owner who hides out) you can't get anyone to help you. I wouldn't even take the car there for an oil change after the way these crooks did business. Take the time to find a real mechanic who is reputable and honest at that. DO NOT LET THESE POOR MECHANICS GO NEAR YOUR CAR. THEY WILL MAKE THE PROBLEM WORSE AND TRUMP UP REDICULOUS CHARGES AT THAT. Pros: null Cons: null more

WILL DAMAGE YOU VEHICLE! STAY AWAY! 11/20/2010

My son took one of our vehicles in for an oil change. During the process our vehicle was damaged. Since then we CAN NOT get any resolution to this problem. It's like a dog chasing it's tail with these people. They WON'T give you the name of the person you need to talk to, they just talk in circles. They should pay for the damages as any RESPONSIBLE COMPANY would do! Instead, they give you the run around. I guess they think you will eventually give up and go away. But not us! I would like for anyone else that has received damaged to their vehicles to file a civil suit against them and report them to the Better Business Bureau. They should be held responsible for damages caused by their employees. \r AND ANOTHER THING.\r The ONLY positive feedback here online is coming from the MANAGER AND THE EMPLOYEES!!! That's bad! more

I Have been a long time Customer of PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE in anderson and greenwood sc.\r I have allways felt that the employees at both locations have allways went out of there way to make sure any and all that is wrong with my car is explained to me and have allways offered meA a fair price and outstanding warranty . Precision is not the only shop that i have to in my 37 years , BUT IS THE ONLY SHOP WHERE I FELT LIKE I WAS PART OF THE TEAM THEY. THEY OFFER COUPONS IN HOUSE SPECIALS AND IF THEY SUGGEST SOMETHING MAY NEED TO BE REPAIRED OR ADDRESSED ON ANY OF MY VEHICLES AND I DO NOT GET IT FIXED WHILE IM THERE THESE GUYS WILL CALL ME REMIND ME AND OFFER ME SHUTTLE SERVICE TO WHERE EVER I MAY NEED TO GO WHILE MY CAR IS BEING REPAIRED . NOW I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU FOLKS BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED IN THAT MANNER. A Good Word! 2/5/2010

I have been a long time (almost 8 yrs) customer of this Precision Tune and after reading the other reviews decided I needed to write one as well. These people have been nothing but good to me no matter who the manager was. Having lived in Anderson I understand the workforce (especially the younger generations) leaves ALOT to be desired. I can say the manager and the technician that are there now have been there for at least 3 yrs and have ALWAYS been honest and have ALWAYS given me the best value. For the most part they have always had an oil change under $20 when everyone else is almost $40, so I do not take issue with them showing me and explaining any additional services or issues I may have. And I can tell you after pricing those things that they have almost always come in at a better price. I've met the DM and he is genuinely interested in doing it the right way. They may never see this but they deserve it. They literally saved me thousands of dollars in 8 yrs. Thanks guys! more

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS. 1/20/2010

On NewYears Eve-12/31/09 my son took my truck to Precision Tune of Anderson, Clemson blvd. He asked and paid for an oil change.When the service tech drove my truck out of he bay back into the parking lot he turned too sharp to the right and hit the red pole that protects the building. Damaging my truck! This was witnessed by my son and his friend. My son promptly called me about the problem. I drove to the service center, looked the damage over and spoke with the manager.He (in person) and the district manager (over the phone) asked me to get two estimates for fixing my truck. Both assured me that they would pay for the repairs. I did as they asked: one of the estimates was $1077.44, and the other was $1406.87. I hand delivered these estimates to the manager. He made copies and said he would give them to the district manager and they would issue me a check. I told the manager that I would settle for $1200.00, which would be midways of both estimates. Now the manager is avoiding me, not more

BIG PROBLEM HERE!!!! 11/8/2008

Took my car here for well over a year. The management changed 4 times in this time frame. The last time I took my car there, a few days later it was leaking oil. Well, I commute 1 1/2 hours a day to get to work. So I decided to take my car to the dealership since it was in town. Guess what????? The oil leak was caused by the last oil change that was completed at Precision Auto Tune Care. I called the place to complain and tell them what had happened. They had changed management since I had my oil changed there last. All I was asking for was a reimbursement of the money I had spent getting the car checked out. It has been over a month since this has happened and I still haven't received the money. Very unsatisfactory customer service and would be very careful to ever take my car here again. more

Go in for Oil change/Brake Inspection, NOT EVER AGAIN. 9/8/2005

When I first moved to the Anderson area, I had not yet found a regular place to take my car for maintenance,so when it came time to have my oil changed, I went to the closest place that offered oil changes. I now wish that I had kept on driving past Precision Tune. When I went in to get the oil changed, they offered to do a free vehichle inspection for me since I was getting close to my required 36000 maintenance. I thought why not, they are all over the country, they can't be that bad.... WRONG. Half way through their inspection, they called me out to show me my brake drums(I do not know that much about cars)They told me that they needed to be turned and I needed pads as soon as possible. They said I was in danger of more damage being done,if I did not do it immediately. I told them I would have to think about it a while they finished the inspection. I just got a really bad feeling about what they were telling me about my brakes. I waited until they got finished, when they came in more
