Fast response, Courteous, and More than Fair. Plumber Near was on time, very polite, and solved the problem in no time, part of which was due to my silly oversight, but no ridicule from him! :) He suggested if I had any further problems to call the water heater company because my water heater was still under warranty. No monetary taking advantage of a women for this company! I appreciated his talking to me respectfully and not talking down to me. Also, no charge for services not needed. The sewage ejector pumps broke down in a Thursday evening. I called Plumber Near Friday morning. The tech quickly arrived and assessed the problem. The ejector pumps needed to be replaced. He was given approval. After numerous calls to vendors, he was able to locate two new pumps. The work was dirty and strenuous, but completed by the early evening with excellent results. Plumber Near earned my business and will be called for future plumbing issues in my home, because let's face it; sooner or later, everyone needs a plumber. more

I was having issues with washing machine drainage and some leaking. Turned out to be a 2 issue deal, the appliance repair guy fixed the rubber gasket on the front and recommended some drain snaking. My handyman did it and found a plastic plumbing fitting in the drain which he removed, but still had concerns about it. I was not about to take any chances on ruining my beautiful new bamboo floors so I went onto Judysbook and found Plumber Near. The tech showed up early, put on his booties to protect my floor, told me to run the washer, and went down into the dirt area under the house to look for leaks. Everything seemed to be OK, one of the pipes was 1/2" smaller in diameter than the 2" he recommended but that it wasn't a big deal. He also looked at a mysterious drip that came and went from the roof area that I thought might be related to the shower, but he thought it was dampness from the roof and gave me a recommendation for a roofer. He spent a good 1/2 hour doing all this and talking to my GF who was very thorough with her questions, and would not take any payment when he left. Very professional and personable. I would not hesitate to contact Plumber Near with any future job, and as a new homeowner, am happy to add his card to my list of professionals! more

I needed a valve replaced on a refrigerator line, and fast. Plumber Near scheduled me for that day, and called back to tell me the tech had a cancellation, and could be there even earlier. He has a price chart with him, so you know right up front how much things will cost. Don't have any idea how much thinks cost, so I can't say how his prices stack up. If you have the time you can do the checking. Very clean, wears booties, so he does not track up you house. Very pleased, and will use him next time, not to soon I hope. more

I had a problem with my kitchen sink. I tried fixing it myself, I spent three hours then gave up. I called Plumber Near and the tech came took care of it within 30-45 minutes. This guy really knows his job. I was not home when he arrived so my teenage sons let him in to do the job. When he was done he called me to let me know the issues he had repaired, I gave him my credit card, and problem solved. He is very trustworthy and professional. He is a very nice guy, if you have any plumbing issues I recommend you give Plumber Near a try. more

We had a clogged kitchen drain at 8.30pm on a Wednesday night. Being new to the area, we went to the internet to find a nearby plumber, expecting to have to wait hours or until the next day to get our issue resolved. We were surprised with how nice everyone (the dispatch and the actual plumber who came to our house) was, and with the speed that they responded. Plumber Near technicians were here within an hour and made quick work of our problem. Hopefully our plumbing issues are behind us, but it's nice to know there's a good local vendor we can call upon if we have any future problems. more

Very fast, very effective. Clogged bathtub drain in my 2nd floor apartment, it did not work since a week ago, I had tried snaking it myself too. Plumber Near gave me a 11am-1pm window and arrived at 12:20pm, finished the work in three minutes flat. Bravo! more
