I was having issues with washing machine drainage and some leaking. Turned out to be a 2 issue deal, the appliance repair guy fixed the rubber gasket on the front and recommended some drain snaking. My handyman did it and found a plastic plumbing fitting in the drain which he removed, but still had concerns about it. I was not about to take any chances on ruining my beautiful new bamboo floors so I went onto Judysbook and found Plumber Near. The tech showed up early, put on his booties to protect my floor, told me to run the washer, and went down into the dirt area under the house to look for leaks. Everything seemed to be OK, one of the pipes was 1/2" smaller in diameter than the 2" he recommended but that it wasn't a big deal. He also looked at a mysterious drip that came and went from the roof area that I thought might be related to the shower, but he thought it was dampness from the roof and gave me a recommendation for a roofer. He spent a good 1/2 hour doing all this and talking to my GF who was very thorough with her questions, and would not take any payment when he left. Very professional and personable. I would not hesitate to contact Plumber Near with any future job, and as a new homeowner, am happy to add his card to my list of professionals!
