Eh. I ordered Pazzaz because I saw that it was a place that you could order from. I've definitely had my fair share of actually dining in their location in Los Feliz. To tell you the truth, I should of known, but delivery sushi is never going to be that amazing. The miso was more of a fishy broth than a true miso broth, and the rice on their sushi and rolls were al dente. Meaning, it probably didn't have enough water to create the softness, because everytime I bit into a bite, I definitely got crunchy semi-hard rice. Yah, I'll probably just order sushi at the restaurant next time. Not sure if I'll do this again delivery. You know, could be fishy. more

A neighborhood favorite to eat-in for a quick sushi nosh or order for delivery or take out, Pazzaz Sushi has a loyal following. Sit at the bar or one of several tables; menu is definitely limited but salmon, yellowtail and tuna hand rolls are yummy. Stick to the basics and you'll be very satisfied. Miso soup and edamame are great starters. Special orders are no problem--the chef is right there and super-friendly. There's no beer or wine, so you're choices are soft drinks or Japanese green tea. You can bring your own beer, sake or wine but be discreet! This is a sushi bar without attitude--even the other customers are nice. There are several lunch specials too. Only discovered this place about a year ago after living in Silverlake for a couple years and I have to say it is my favorite sushi spot in LA for everything a sushi restaurant should be. Not too expensive, fresh, friendly, and the free corkage is great (bringing a good champagne or cold white wine with sushi is a nice change from the typical sake and sapporo). After living for 25 years in the Bay Area, it definitely took me a while to find my sushi spot in LA but with Pizzaz Sushi I have to say my only regret is not having found it a couple years earlier! This place is great if you wanna grab some quick sushi and not stand in long waits at top name sushi bars of LA. This place has some really delicious rolls and it is very clean and SUPER friendly. Very neighborhood bar...and luckily it is next to a liquor store cause they have no beer license - so bring your own...there is no cork charge. If your in Silverlake then THIS is your sushi choice...Koda Sushi on Sunset in Silverlake is REALLY BAD... more
