Thanksgiving was not pretty this year. We live in a 100+ unit condominium community and a water line burst on the second floor in our condo building and flooded several units. I called Thursday afternoon to report the emergency and received a call back in just a few minutes. Plumbers, water vac people and men to help move furniture were at the property in less than an hour. It was a mess, but by nightfall the situation was under control and we could all sleep without worry about how we would ever clean things up. I was in contact with the property manger several times during the ordeal and feel that the team as a whole did a magnificent job of putting our lives back together and helping us feel safe and supported. I do not know what more I could have expected or received from these people. In my opinion, you can forget the small stuff. This is why we have management. Good Job Pioneer! Suzanne Hardebeck was my landlord's agent in 1985. She helped me find my first house in 1988 & set up the financing, she found my current house for me in 1992, and there's a good chance she'll be the one to find my next house. Rick (her husband) is a good egg as well but my dealings have been mostly with Suzanne. She really knows the Austin market and she is trustworthy. more

Our house is 80 years old and older homes require viligence and maintenance. Ms. O'Brien has ensured our house is kept in good shape; minor problems are repaired before they become serious. But most importantly, we believe that our home will be in as good of shape when we move back into it as it was when we left more

For the record, both as a homeowner and now as a board member I've been nothing but pleased with the service provided to Towne Court by Pioneer. I've found the staff to be friendly, competent, and reliable. Pioneer has been a marked contrast to the service we were offered by previous management companies. more

I was recently surprised by Pioneer while having my home mortgage refinanced. I live in Belterra and Pioneer manage the HOA. In reviewing my closing costs on my refi I saw there was a $50 fee from pioneer. Now, why my HOA would get a cut of the action is beyond me. The answer is, because they can. I called up and asked the person in charge of Belterra what this fee was for. She told me this is a standard fee they charge for all refi’s. I told her that was great but again WHAT IS IT FOR? She then tells me other management companied charge up to $200 for a refi. Again I asked her what is it that you do for $50? She then tells me it is to look up my account and fill in the paperwork my mortgage broker sent over. So, to type my name in their computer and write a 3 digit number I have to pay them $50. I complained to no avail. We here in Belterra are stuck with everyone’s hands in our pockets. This company is quick to site you for any violation they can pin on you and then threaten to assess a lien against your mortgage. They even sited my for the plastic edging in the front of my house that the original builder put in! If you have a complaint or question, don’t expect them to get back to you to resolve it. Future Belterra owners be ware…. more
