Petterino's is a great place to eat, and even better because it is located next door to the Goodman Theatre. It reminds me of the old fashioned sort of place that your parents use to frequent...dark wood, starched linens, very glamorous. But don't let that deter you from dining here. Their food is fantastic. It can get very busy on theatre nights but if you get there early, sometimes they can squeeze you in. However, you are warned. Reservations are best. They have an awesome bar that gets a lot of traffic. This is classic American cuisine, with dishes named after famous locals and beautifully prepared and presented. You won't be disappointed, whether for an office lunch out or dinner with that special someone. Great service makes it even better.
