Hiring Peterman Heating & Cooling was by far my biggest mistake in remodeling my home. They installed an air conditioning unit to an existing system. \r The lineset had to be run through the attic. The installers stepped through my ceiling,not once,but twice.\r I was told by the estimator that they would do a clean install with no lineset showing from the outside. The installer had no idea what I was talking about, when I complained about the giant globs of silicone smeared around and dripping down from where the lineset exited the attic. He said, "it looks great to me". I complained to his boss before he left, and he was VERY disgruntled to have to fabricate a cover to hide the lineset, even though it was quoted in the job.\r The installers also took it upon themselves to change the size of my filterbox, even though I had a years worth of custom air filters for the original. The Peterman staff is very friendly and reliable. I called late last week because my ac went out and they had someone there that day. The technician was very presentable and professional. He found the problem and explained my options for the repair. I am happy I chose Peterman as my hvac contractor. They earned my trust during the entire process. more

I think that it is equally important to post positive comments if a company provides excellent customer service.*\r \r Peterman was contracted by the previous owner of my home to perform routine maintenance and replace the furnace filter. Many months later I realized that the filter installed was vastly undersized and allowed dust and other particles into my furnace, duct work, and home. I spoke with their Service Manager Derek today. Derek stated that due to the elapsed time since the service was provided, Peterman would not do anything to fix my problem. In addition, their paperwork showed that the correct filter was installed, therefore it must have been me that installed the filter that was way too small. I was also told that if I had noticed this within 60 days of the service they could have helped me. I guess I assumed that the correct filter had been installed and there was no need to check their work. I admit that I went far more

Joe Morgan , is a very knowledgeable tech. Joe answered all of my questions and I had a lot of them. He gave me what I though was good advice about my A.C. and took the time to explain things to me. Joe had our house cooling in no time. THANKS JOE MORGAN & PETERMAN HEATING & COOLING. more

This place was by far and away the WORST heating and cooling place I've used. I just moved and decided to use them because the previous owner had. BIG MISTAKE. I was on a yearly contract with them and when my AC quit working, I called early Monday morning and was told I'd have to wait until Friday because they were ""backed up because of the rain?!"".. It was only a light sprinkle, and 5 Days? I have a 3 week old baby!!! Since I'd already paid my contract there was nothing I can do. I wait until Friday. My wife stays home with the baby and was expecting them. After my business meetings I see the called my cell phone to say they were coming (voicemail).... The problem? They NEVER showed. When I called to ask they outright lied and said they tried knocking which in my 1000sf condo you CAN NOT miss hearing them. Outright lies. The next available appointment date??? Monday! That?s right... 7days to get services for a contract customer! Yet their advertisements say ?24hrs 7days a week?. There are FAR cheaper HVAC companies who are friendlier and more prompt? Don?t schedule with these people only to have them waste your time and not show up... Unless you?d like to wait a week for service to see if they?ll show. Pros: None. When my A/C went out this summer I stopped in because they were near my house. Two hours later they were there, diagnosed the problem down to the part, had the part in stock, and I was back up and running 30 minutes later. They also couldn't be nicer. As far as my experience went, I couldn't be happier and there is no other place I would call. more
