Al the Specialist is a very good teacher. He makes you feel comfortable when driving. He teaches you until you get it right. You'll be ready to take the test within a couple lessons. The prices are reasonable for the 1 hr and 2 hr lesson. I recommend this driving school to any and everyone. more

I started learning how to drive at the age of 33,After going through two driving teachers,I had lost all of hopes of learning how todrive,until one day a magic happen and I discoverd my new Teacher.he has all the great qualities,which the driving teacher should have,he so so patiant,he is very stimulating and most important teaching driving the correct way,which is most important,I am very relaxed when I drive,I would highly recommend him to anybody I care for,i am a lucjy girl,my new teacher,gave me a hope of learning how to drive some day!!! more

I went on my first driving lesson after years of trying to learn how to drive. I am a nervous freak, but for the first time in my life I had a teacher with a great sense of humor and lots of patients. The specialist, he made me feel super comfortable and confident. He is awesome! I know I did a lot of mistakes and he didn't yell at me. I'm confident enough to know that soon I will have my license. Thank you AL the Specialist!!!!!!!!!!! more

To learn how to drive at age 30 is hard for me. But the specialist made it way easier. He is a great teacher, really make you feel relaxed and learn to drive quickly. I would strongly recommend him for everyone. more

Avoid at all costs 7/29/2012

I am honestly not sure how this place has such great reviews. I am posting on here to say that I wish anyone who uses Paul's Driving School the best of luck. First off I am not sure who Dave, Al or even Angel are but I requested different instructors each lesson I took because each one was worse than the previous. They had no patience and only made me more nervous. One instructor insisted that I was ready to go on 95 during rush hour traffic and than screamed at me the entire time. I guess this is why instructions are so cheap. I would never recommend or even think about using again. more

Angel is the best driver in Paul's Driving School, HANDS DOWN! He helped me learn all the skills I needed not only for my driving test, but for the real world. He calms your nerves and works with you consistently with your weaknesses. Eugenio G. Had my first driving lesson today. I called Paul's Driving School the instructor's name is Angel came to pick me up at my residence. I got in the car was a bit nerveous ,he explained what i had to do. Made me feel comfortable was les nerveous by the time my first lesson was over my self confidence felt great. Cant whait for my next driving lesson. I strongly recommend Paul's Driving School. more

Al Is the best in Philadelphia I had the hardest time with parking he had me parking on the first time.. He also made my driving test for me this Thursday what is also amazing he works all holidays he took me on today July 4th money well spent... If you are looking for the best forget the rest go to Al the Specialist... I will update again when i recieve my licence tomorrow because Al told me i am getting it he also keeps you calm and makes your nerves fly right out the window... more

Al the Specialist 6/21/2012

Before taking driving lessons, I decided to search up the top rated driving schools there is in Philadelphia. I found out that many people rated Al 5 stars, so I gave it a try. I agree with the others giving him a 5 star. He is a very good instructor. He gave me driving lessons in a brand new 2012 car, so the driving was smooth. My first day with Al was to drive to I-95. I was nervous, but Al was able to calm me down. Al the specialist indeed. more

JAMES THE INSTRUCTOR: As the name implies I learnt driving from Mr. James and passed the exam at a go. So what's the big deal? The deal is while learing how to drive I also learnt from Mr. James how to drive good, then better and then well... I am not the best driver around yet because I lack experience in driving. However, I bet that I have the knowledge of perfect driving . And the craving for being the best is settled in my mind so deep that even when I passed my exam, I scheduled to take another lesson from Mr. James. \r See you soon Mr. James, and I thank you wholeheartedly for your training that made me a ""SAFE DRIVER"". What else could one expect?\r And I also thank Jenny (?) or the lady who scheduled all my lessons with Mr. James.\r Thank you to Mr. Paul as well.\r Regards more

I am rating Al as a five star. He 6/11/2012

I am rating Al as a five star. He is truly a specialist who is professional and a patient instructor. His immediate corrections are not harsh. In fact, I appreciate them, which allows me to move on learning other techniques expeditiously. The advice I would give a potential driver is to ask for Al when you call the company just to avoid any confusion and later on disappointments. Believe you me, he is worth it all and you will be satisfied with his service. I end on this note, if more instructors can be like Al, there would be better drivers who have better driving techniques. P.S. His car drives smoothly and is a new model!!!! more

I had an excellent lesson. My instructor made sure that I had everything down pack in lesson then 15 minutes I mastered parking. I learned in a 2012 car, which was perfect for the lesson. I give this driving school an A++. Recommend everyone to learn with the specialist, Owl Specialist that is. more

hi everybody I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I HAD 1 DRIVING LESSON MY INSTUCTOR WAS DAVE HE WAS GREAT,I WAS NERVES HE MADE ME FEEL REAL COMFORTABLE,HE WAS EVERYTHING I ASKED FOR I JUST GOT MY PERMIT A MONTH AGO AND WANTED SOMEBODY WHO WAS GOING TO BE PATIENT WITH ME AND HE WAS I ENJOYED THE LESSON, HE GAVE GREAT TIPS I WAS BEHIND THE WHEEL AND FELT LIKE A PRO I RECOMMENED HIM TO EVERYONE BUT I DONT WANT TO SHARE LOL.
