At the end of January I went for my drivers test, I failed. So I figured to get a driving lesson to show me some stuff I may be doing wrong, I would get Frank from paul's driving school and he was cool and calm, also he shows you the best technique for parallel parking. And gives you good tips overall on other aspects of driving. I went for my 2nd try at a drivers license last week and passed, I think I would've passed either way, but I was more confident this time, and as I said the parallel parking technique is great not just for the test but for parking in those spots which you will be doing a lot if you live in philly! more

Seeing how Paul's Driving School has lost one of their best driving instructors and has undergone new management their services AND PRICE aren't exactly the best at the moment. Their rotation for scheduling is all messed up, I asked to be taught by one instructor, 7 times, before prepaying for my package but ended up getting taught by three different ones. I had to juggle between 3 different methods right before my exam ... but at the end of the day you get your moneys worth. \r \r The mid-20's instructor Frank is very friendly, he puts you at ease. Frank is one of the few driving instructors that specialize in parking, braking and steering control. If you want to learn how to parallel park in under 20 to 40 seconds then he's your guy! more

I decided to take driving courses after reading all the good reviews and the fact that I am a very nervous person. My instructor Frank was very nice and patient, and has helped me overcome my fear of driving. After two courses with him I am now more comfortable with turning and working on my parking skills. He showed me this technique and after a few tries I was parallel parking and couldn't believe it. My driving test is schedule in a few weeks and I am hoping for the best but with more practice I know I will do just fine. Thanks Frank and to all the friendly staff at Paul's Driving School I would highly recommend the school to anyone. more

I took my road test with Frank. Oh man he helped me a lot! He was supposed to pick me up at 3:15 (one hour before my scheduled test), but then he said that he was free and he could pick me up at 3:00 and of course I agreed. He helped me a lot with parallel parking, how I hold the wheel and many many more stuff. After an hour I passed my test with NO mistakes :D more

The instructor Frank did a very good job teaching me how to parallel park and I passed the driving test on the first try. He has a special ability to teach how to parallel park. I would highly recommend Paul's Driving School. more

So I got my license today, it's the 2nd time imma take the test after I failed on my own the first time(last week).. Thinking bout going to the DMV to take the test alone makes you nervous, but It was otherwise when I got in the car with Frank for a quick practice before the test.. It amazed me at how confident I was after about 10mins driving with him. He's really cool, and will work with you patiently.. No yelling or sort of by him.....\r And I need to add how super early he was waiting on me for the practice... Y'all check out Paul's driving school. more

Paul's Driving School is a really good school that provides quality lessons for a reasonable price. I had Al the Specialist as my instructor and he really helped me. He was awesome and I was able to get my license in a week, passed on the first tried. The other schools in Philly will rip you off and have you driving in a parking lot for your first lesson. With Al the Specialist, I was driving on the road during my first lesson. I really recommend this driving school, especially if you want to get your license quick and really KNOW how to drive. more

I want to thank this company for sending me a professional, down to earth and patient instructor, Mr. Frank. Mr. Frank met me at zero level, and helped me learn and retain driving fundamentals and continued to instruct and reinforce the skill. This instructor did not yell at me or make feel uncomfortable anytime. I cannot forget to mention how punctual he is and his flexibilty with my irregular schedule and tardiness. Yes; fear got the best out of me on my test day but I definately made it on first attempt because Mr. Frank was there for me. That said, I recommend him to prospective drivers with high expectations. more

I was very apprehensive about taking a driving lesson. I scheduled my lesson for 7 am and my instructor was on time. As soon as I got in the car and spoke with Al the Specialist I felt like i was in good hands. We went on the HIGHWAY!! I couldn't believe I was driving on the HIGHWAY!! Amazing!! That gave me the confidence I needed. I felt like I was in control of the wheel while driving on the highway and the car was not controlling me. My lesson was suppose to be for a hour but it turned into 2 hours. The 2 hours was just what I needed. With a couple more lessons with Al I will be driving on the road in no time. I am looking forward to our next lesson and then taking my road test. Al you are the best. I truly mean that. I didn't think there was any hope for me. But I feel differently today. I look forward to driving with the SPECIALIST again. more

Al the specialist explained that there was nothing to be afraid of. My sister and I came to find out he was right. In fact driving was easy, even during the hours when most people are coming home. He told us that all we needed to do was listen to his directions and everything will work out fine. \r Finally when we returned home Mr.Al showed my dad the video of my sister and I both driving. This helped my father to become more confident in my sister and I. Also he could see that his money was being well spent on the lessons. Paul?s driving classes are very effective from what I have experienced. They helped to improve our confidence and ability to drive on any street, parking lot, etc. more

Angel is hands down the best driving instructor ever! He makes you feel comfortable being behind the wheel and gives you the confidence you need to be ready to not just take but to PASS your exam. After just a few lessons with Angel I was ready and confident to do parking with only one back up and obtain a PERFECT score on the exam. Thanks to Angel, I have my license. Highly Recommended. more

Angel Is awesome with a Capital A! Before Angel my driving was horrible! I had been in a accident that resulted in the car being totaled and I almost totaled a second car. As you could imagine after those horrific experiences I was scared to death of driving. That is until Angel! He thought me how to drive my first lesson in the pouring rain! He made feel extremely comfortable and was extremely patient with me. Angel is THE BEST! more

My experience was great. Al took his time with me and made sure i was fine.He got me driving on the expressway right way and that made me nervous but turned out great. Even though this was my first lesson i learn a lot in that one hour. I believe I'll have my license in no time. more
