a pleasant surprise! 1/21/2006

I'd also received a gift certifcate and never made time to go and finally I did and am so glad that I did! The Park Ave. location is beautiful, the staff was helpful and I appreciated the relaxation room. I've been to quite a few spas and I liked the fact that I was encouraged to relax a bit before and after my treatments were done. My esthetician, Ariel was great! She had a amazing touch and was incredibly knowledgable. She was able to really help me understand what was happening with my skin. I was given a prescription sheet to help me understand and some reccomendations. She also gave me her card and told me that she worked in the union square spa which is great because I live in the area. I've started to see her there as well for my waxings. Best facial in NYC 1/12/2006

I reluctantly tried Oasis after receiving a gift certificate for the holidays. I was feeling a little weary of going after I read some of the reviews Oasis had gotten. My first impression upon entering the lobby area was that it was a nice place, but the reception staff could have been a little more pleasant. I was brought to the womens locker room and was impressed on how clean it was, and I almost fell asleep in the relaxation room. When Tina (my new favorite aesthetician) came to get me, I was still a little nervous, But she put me at ease right away. She was highly knowledgeable, but never made me feel pressured to buy products. Her touch was amazing, she answered all of my questions and gave me the best massage of my life. I strongly suggest giving oasis a try. Tina is a true gem!!!!!!!!!! Pros: best facial ever, cozy, professional Cons: Tina is off Sat. more

unprofessional reservation desk 12/28/2005

The people at the reservation line were unprofessional and rude. They mixed up my reservation, and several of them sounded grumpy and groggy like they just woke up. When they called to confirm my reservation, I told them that it was incorrect. And then they told me that I did not have an appointment for the time I requested, that no one remembered talking to me just 3 hours ago, and stated that they don't even offer the service at that time at the Park Avenue location. It turned out that the reservation desk was wrong and I eventually got the reservation I requested -- that is after they cut me off mid-sentence and then put me on hold for 5 minutes. I thought spas were supposed to relax you, not annoy you. more

Not a friendly invitation 11/3/2005

I was trying to book a facial at Oasis since my friend enjoyed her massage here, but i felt pressured to give my credit card number while I hadn't even explained the services we were getting. Pros: nice name Cons: not friendly more

Our private event space fits up to 30 people and it is ideal for sharing the spa experience with friends. This location also features a hair and nail salon, with Hair by Carmine Fischetti. Our spa services include relaxing massage, skin care including facials and scrubs, nail care, eyelash extensions, waxing, hydrotherapy, as well as men's services. Couples massage and skin treatments are offered here so clients can relax with their significant others.

    Oasis is the leading on-site chair massage company in the nation. We provide services to trade shows throughout the country, corporate offices and health fairs, events, outings, parties, private homes and practically anywhere. We carry a variety of skincare and bath and body products that can be ordered online.

    Many of the local chain's favorites are offered, including 10 effective facials (using Dermologica and G.M.
