Great service 9/21/2009

I brought my vehicle in to Northwest Body & Frame after a friend recomended them. I gave them a copy of my insurance estimate and the keys, and they said for hail repairs like this would take about 3 weeks. 2 and a half weeks later they called and said it was ready. When I went to pick it up it was out front clean and looked fantastic. It ended up costing more than the original estimate, but they negotiated that with my insurance company. I literally had to do nothing and my car looks great. THANKS NORTHWEST!!!!!!! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

Wayyyyyy overpriced! 5/1/2009

I would suggest finding another shop in the austin area if you are in need of car repair. Northwest Body and Frame is wayyyy overpriced compared to other local shops and they are extremely rude as soon as you question their prices. There are way too many shops in the Austin metro area that will treat you much better! You can find much better prices to go along with a better attitude if you do a little searching! Cons: Overpriced, rude more

I will never deal with these people again. 3/4/2009

First of all it is way overpriced and the work is so so. Definetly not worth what I paid. I took it there based on a recomendation from a friend only to find out that they overcharged me which was fine with i guess if the work was flawless. But nolt even close. there are drips still where they painted. after i told the guy that it looks pretty bad he told me that it would take another week to get it out to which i said just forget it. What disturbed me is that they charged me over 5000 dollars and did about a 3000 dollar job. Never again will I deal with crooks like that. Pros: they did have matching paint Cons: way over priced tho. more

NW Body and Frame is the worst body shop in the state. 8/29/2007

I recently took my car to NW body and frame to have the right front fender, hood, and bumper replaced due to a fender bender. The repair only took a week which I thought was great. After dropping off my rent car to pick up my vehicle, I found the bumper falling off (they did not replace the bumper brackets), the hood was not painted correctly (no clear coat or buffing done), worst of all the left front fender was now damaged (which was not when I dropped it off.) My insurance would not cover for another rent car since these morons released my car. So I had to take off work and bring my car back to NW Body. After arguing with them about fixing my car correctly they agreed to fix it right this time. I returned back that evening to find that the hood had been buffed, but the bumper was still out of alignment, and the left front fender was still crashed out. Mike the ""manager"" said that the fender was already damaged on the left side. I know it wasn't and when I asked to see the insurance pictures of the vehicle before the ""repair"" he refused. So I was very angry and left. The next day my motor was running very hot, so I had my car towed into a local gas station to have it checked out. The mechanic said that the core support that holds the radiator in place was severly bent and my radiator is cracked. I called Mike back to tell him and he said to bring it back in and they would take care of it. So I took off work again and dropped off my car to be repaired(again without a rent car). I returned back at the end of the day to find my car covered in greese and coolant, inside and out. The radiator had been replaced, but the core support that holds the radiator had not. The core support was bent bad enough to puncture my battery. On the way home, I noticed my car was running very poorly. I took it to a mechanic on the way home and he said that some one unpluged many of the sensors on my vehicle. Everyone, DO NOT USE NW BODY AND PAINT !!!! Cons: Repair quality, customer service, short-handed staff more

GREAT RESULTS, FAST SERVICE 2/26/2007

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WHEN I HAD MY CAR REPAIRED AT NORTHWEST BODY & FRAME. AFTER VISITING MANY SHOPS, DAN TOOK THE TIME TO GO OVER THE REPAIR ESTIMATE WITH ME, HE EXPLAINED THE REPAIR PROCESS TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT A WEEK, 4 DAYS LATER I GOT A CALL THAT MY CAR WAS READY, NOT ONLY DID I GET MY CAR BACK EARLY THEY WASHED AND CLEANED UP THE INSIDE ALSO, THE WORK LOOKS WONDERFUL AND I JUST HAVE TO SAY YOU ROCK!!!! more

NEVER AGAIN; WHAT A NIGHTMARE 11/28/2006

WHEN I FIRST WENT TO NW BODY & FRAME I THOUGHT I WAS WORKING WITH SOME VERY PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. THEY DID KEEP MY CAR A LOT LONGER THEN THEY SAID {25 DAYS LONGER} BUT FOR THE MOST PART THEY TOOK CARE OF MOST OF THE ISSUES. THEY SAID THE WORK WAS LIFETIME WARRENTY. HOWEVER WHEN I DID GO BACK TO NW BODY BECAUSE THE MOULDING WAS INSTALLED WRONG, THE MAN THAT I HAD BEEN WORKING WITH HAD LEFT. THE NEW GUY {DAN THE IDIOT} IS THE RUDEST, BIGGEST A..HOLE YOU WILL EVER MET. RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL& UNWILLING TO HELP. OH YEA; IF THE PERSON WHO HELPED YOU WITH YOUR INSURANCE CLAIM QUITS YOUR WORK IS NO LONGER GUARANTEED. GO FIGURE. I DIDN'T GO TO NW BODY SHOP TO GET A GOOD DEAL , I WENT BECAUSE I THOUGHT THEY WOULD DO A GOOD JOB. I THOUGHT WITH THE CERTIFICATIONS THAT THEY HAD THEY WOULD DO A PROFESSIONAL JOB. WRONG! ONE MORE THING WHEN I RECIEVED MY RECEIPT IT WAS NOT DETAILED. IT SAID [ PAID IN FULL, THANKS LINDA] TOTAL $4318.53. I ASKED FOR A DETAILED RECEIPT AND THEY SAID THAT AS LONG AS I HAD THE REPAIR ORDER THAT WAS ALL I NEEDED. SO HERE I AM WITH EXSISTING REPAIR PROBLEMS AND DAN THE RUDE, DISREPECTFUL PROFESSIONAL SAYS THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY NIGHTMARE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU DROP YOUR VEHICLE OFF. Cons: RUDE DISHONEST SERVICE, SMELLS LIKE AN ASHTRY WHEN YOU WALK INTO ENTRANCE AND OFFICE more

If you want to get ripped off... 5/18/2006

...go to NW body. took my truck to get painted (green) after they quoted me a ""good"" price of $2500. When I arrived they tried to up the quote by $1500. After some haggling, I received the original price quoted but only if I paid cash...not a check...AND they said the price wouldn't include the original decals. Okay, no biggie. They said two weeks I'd have it back. Three weeks later they called and said it was ready. When I got there, it still had MANY dents and dings, the molding wasn't replaced and the inside door jamb was still primered grey. After arguing with the owner and the sales lady, they agreed to paint the door jamb. All the dents are still there and several places still have primer where they didn't tape it off. Anyone who does business with these rip off artists is in for MUCH aggrevation. more

Not recommended 4/28/2004

The people who work at Northwest are very nice, but not very professional. The repair took much longer than they said it would, and my car was slightly damaged in the process (though they did give me a discount for this). Also they do not take credit cards, which is very inconvenient. Pros: nice people Cons: , don't take credit more

Northwest sucks. 11/18/2002

They took my registration sticker and did not explain why. They did not check my car throughly when I brought it in for an estimate. Cons: Overpriced more
