Review for the restaurant at 2520 Montrose

Fresh & Fabulous 8/30/2002

Niko Niko is small and quaint, so sometimes take out is easier. The food is top notch especially for the price. I recommend the lamb meat whether in a gyro or plate and baklava...everything is mouth watering good. Pros: fresh, great taste, inexpensive for quant Cons: parking, small quarters more

""Big Fat Best"" 8/24/2002

""Gotta have the sauce,"" along with gyros, souvlaki salad and the fried seafood platter. It's the main reason I'm still living in Houston. more

Top quality fries - and everything else 8/20/2002

Just love Niko-Nikos. They've always done a superior french fry, their seafood is fresh, well done and the right price, the gyros are yummy and the atmosphere is just downright pleasant. Only problem is, it's a little too popular, so go during the off-hours. more

Yummy and fun 8/8/2002

I don't know about the fries, but the food is great, reasonably priced and the owners are a hoot! Go by for great food but don't mispronounce spinakopita! more

To Shame with No Name 7/11/2002

Well obviously this rater has never been to Greece nor know the history of this Greek owned and operated fantastic eatery! Niko Niko's IS GREECE IN HOUSTON. Like many of the street vendors in Greece - Food is Love. And Dimitri Fetokakis (Greek Owner) and his mother do a wonderful job of taking their customers there if just through taste. Go to Niko Niko's - you'll love it! more

A Special Slant 7/4/2002

The place is tilted so hold on to your plate. You wouldn't want to miss a drop of the delicious food. The pita bread is so fresh and the dressing on the salad is just right! Try the savory soups and the tasty gyros. You won't be disappointed...except that you can't fit it all in! Dress coolly because it tends to be a bit warm inside. Pros: inexpensive Cons: parking more
