This company impressed me from the first stage when I did the first down payment of my move. I signed a very thorough document specifying the terms of my move, in which they were committed to honor the rate established at the beginning of the process. Any extra fee had to be explained to me in advance and only do the service I agreed on. The workers were really wonderful, responsive, I was worried they would try to slack or get lazy on me to expand the time, but this wasn’t the case at all. This really impressed me as well as the fact that there were no damages and no lost items to be sorry about. more

Nothing to be worried about when you hire these guys. They pitched in some supplies that weren’t in the original quote. On moving day they showed great skill, even though they were robust guys, they didn’t seem slow or clumsy in any way. They used a crane to lift the heaviest things and were utterly gentle with the most fragile stuff. All the way great move. more

These guys showed their chops from the start did a short walk through the house and quickly began to work, out of nowhere they got a crane and started to load the heaviest things onto the truck. They continued with the fragile items next, 4 hour later at arrival they even adjusted my bed, and reassembled my diner table. Great movers, won’t hesitate to call them again. more

This wasn?t by any means the first time I moved and have had my vast share of both dreadful and positive experiences. My move with nice guys really stands as one of the coolest ever!!. When I first saw these robust gentlemen arriving at my doorstep I was a little dubious about them being careful with my stuff. My best friend was moving because of a job offer, so, I was helping him in organizing all the stuff that over the years he has been accumulating, after couple of days, the movers came to his house and in about 3 hours they packed and fixed all that seemed impossible for me, They were just resourceful and fast. Not mentioning how big two of them they were... Now my friend is not in town but I have a new reference if moving to another place becomes part of my plans. more

Some people dislike having to relocate long distance but what I believe that if you count with an excellent moving service stress will go away and relocating can be a nice new adventure. This crew was exceptional in our recent move from our Orlando home. This was a complicated move. They needed to load half our household goods and move them to our new house on Key West. This included getting their truck on and off a small barge, then hauling all our furniture and goods down a steep hill to the new house. These guys worked their butts off. I had to get them to stop and slow down to drink water. They smiled the whole time and were just delightful to work with. The took very good care of our possessions, using shrink wrap to protect the furniture and large plants. Everything was handled very professionally with no damages, not even a mark on the walls. This place is a huge scam. The tons of positive reviews are clearly not accurate. I read them too before I hired them. Since then, I have been had. I was overcharged because they underestimated the amount of people/time it would take, and would not allow additional guys to come help forcing me to pay almost double the quoted price. On top of that, they are EXTREMELY CARELESS when it comes to unloading at the new house. They dropped my desk down the stairs and damaged my walls and the desk, they ripped a Pottery Barn sofa, they cracked the wood on my dresser, the side of my bookshelf is scraped because the idiot dragged it on the side rather than lift it... and I could go on. Oh and get this, one of the ""nice guy movers"" stuffed the trash from the lunch I personally went and bought him in my mailbox. That was a joy to find the next morning... Moron. The sales guy I spoke to before I hired them was quite a schmoozer telling me how they were the best in the business and they are insured, etc. This is all BS. I had to go through the insurance company, ""Claims Adjusting Company"" after the move to try and recoup some of my damages, and I think it's the same company. Their customer service is a joke. I was supposed to receive a settlement offer within 15 days, that turned into well over a month... and at the end of it all, they offered a whopping $78 to compensate me for the above mentioned damage -- and the wall damage isn't even included because they need a signed written statement that they caused the damage. Meanwhile, the movers who ruined the walls said I'd have to just make a phone call and they'd send a guy over to fix it. (It's certainly not that simple) I am seriously considering taking legal action over this. Oh, and be sure to not take my word for it. Check out their rating on BBB. It irritates me even more to learn I'm not the only one with such a bad experience. This is just a poor excuse for a company. CAVEAT EMPTOR! more

What I needed first was the moving supplies, because I have no time to buy all the things, the guy on the phone told me that the crew was going to bring all the necessary things for the packing step, and after packing they crew was going to be in charge of organizing things by rooms and areas. It was a complete service I got from them and I can tell that it was a very nice and professional moving assistance, they were efficient during all the process and they charged a fair amount. Quoted wrong to begin with! They added a $75.60 surcharge for ""transportation"".... when we were told truck was included and NO other additional fees would be added! Mover said something to the effect of ""it is a diesel fuel charge..."". We had asked for a quote and if ANY other fees would be added. We were told NO! When time came to pay.... they added this bullcrap charge!! $75.60 extra! And that is just the beginning.............. Had them move a very high-end bedroom set as well as home office (2) desks, hutch, credenza, file cabinets..... ALL OF THEM ARE DINGED UP.... SCRATCHED UP.... HAVE PAINT CHIPS EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When i call the company to talk to management..... they ignore my calls and claim they will call me back in regards to this --- and they never do! They are a bunch of rip offs! If all of my furniture is scratched up by ""professional"" movers...... why bother paying someone $500 for movers at all?! Stay away from them! The customer service AFTER they mess up the furniture...... in non-existent! Nice Guy Movers -- should be called ""Rip You Off and Ignore Your Customer Complaints Movers"". more

We had a nice day with the Orlando movers that appear in my house, they did just great, Andrew the leader of the crew was very polite with me and my family, they gave us a hand in every single room, and after two hours we could finish packing and started loading things onto the truck, that task of moving things was simple compare with packing the things up, and couple of hours later we were at home, tired, but complete satisfied with the moving service you provided, so, Thanks!!! more

These movers were as quick as they could be. They had done a move that morning and said that they were planning on making another move directly after. I can't say I'm surprised though. With the good quality service they provide, I'm sure they're getting a good amount of business. I've already referred my coworker at my restaurant to Nice guys and would be glad to give my reference to anyone else that's considering using them. If you want to save yourself the time that it takes to shop around for a company, Nice guys is a very solid bet. more
