I got a great manicure from Vanessa at a really reasonable price. She's very gentle, but at the same time really does a number on my nails. She also offers pedicures and waxing, which I plan to take advantage of next time I get a manicure. I work with my hands all day long and have never had a manicure last as long as the one Vanessa gave me. Almost a full 2 weeks and barely a chip! I will continue to go to Vanessa for the best manicures I have ever had. Eyebrow shape is tricky and now mine look great after Vanessa waxed me. Vanessa is talented and through! She applies some sort of crazy sealer that makes your nail polich inpenetrable. I have manicures all the time and honeslty, I've never had one that lasted so long. Vanessa does a tremendous job when it comes to grooming my brows. I have been going to her for almost 10 years and have followed her throughout center city. Now she has relocated to 1440 Lombard Street and the phone number is 215-731-0177. She does such a fine job, I would follow her anywhere. Her new location, while not as centrally located, is actually a bit more convenient in that the parking is better and the salon is more spacious. Not only is she skillful in shaping my brows but she is also respectful of my time. I never have to wait and she accomodates last minute appointments, even on a late Friday afternoon. 7/17/08 - I am giving another review for Vanessa because I really feel she does a great job and treats all your clients like they are family. I have been going to Vanessa since she was on Samsom Street, then Walnut and now her NEW address is 1440 Lombard Street. As I stated before I will follow her anywhere she goes. She is the best at what she does. I am a middle aged man who thinks that men should look groomed no matter if you are straight or gay. You don?t want to have your partner to loss interest do you? So you need to always look good from head to toe. And Vanessa as got you covered. Gentlemen if you want someone that is great at their profession and is friendly clean in everyway see Vanessa. She will make your nails look great without looking feminine. So when you put your hand out to someone they will think you take care of yourself. I get compliments all the time on how my hands look. My nails were gross when I first started to go to Vanessa and after the first visit they looked great. She will also clean up those gross feet so when your wife, girlfriend or boyfriend looks down at your feet they will notice. I also promise you will feel good. If you are brave enough men have her wax your eyebrows, neck what ever she is great. When they grow together that is (GROSS) you don?t know where they start or end. Vanessa is truly the best, most skilled, manicurist/pedicurist/ and certainly waxer I have ever gone to. Prior to going to Vanessa, I had gone to many high end salons, and was never consistently satisfied. I now go to Vanessa every friday, and have become completely loyal to her. I will not go to anyone else, because I don't trust anyone but Vanessa. She is an artist w. waxing, I feel like I have a new face whenever she does my eyebrows.
