I had service done with My Plumber Heating and Cooling done before, but I recently called them on behalf of a neighbor who was having a plumbing emergency. We had a cold snap here in Virginia, and my neighbors who did not speak English had their pipes burst. I called My Plumber, and they were able to send someone over within 45 minutes. The homeowners actually weren't home, and their relatives were there babysitting for them, but the plumber was very reasonable and waited for us to figure out if they would have a way to pay for it. They were very nice and tolerant of our situation, and everything worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend them! more

"Bennet F of My Heating and Cooling solved a problem we didn't realize we had for 9 years now...dryer lint collecting in the ceiling of our ground floor due to separated dryer vent tubing. He did this by figuring out where it was, went in through bathroom ceiling fan and using his scope not only removed much of the built up, still reachable lint, but repaired the broken tubing. What a relief! He also charged exactly what he estimated he would charge for the service. All very fair, above board and not only is Bennett a super problem solver, he's super trustworthy, too. I will recommend My Plumber, Bennett F and the crew in future for anyone needing help with HVAC stuff and will look to them for future plumbing needs, too. The staff who answer the phone are great, too. Great team, problem solvers and helpful...Anthony, Harry and "the Manager" (whomever that was) was helpful, too. Byron was quick to fix my plumbing issue and My Plumber responded within hours to my request. All together it was a great experience and I plan to use them again when the need for a plumber occurs. Phil Kennedy arrived Monday 3-23-15, did a thorough inspection of my hot water heater and the pipes/faucets/etc. in my 3 bathrooms, kitchen, and washing machine. His professionalism, work ethics, and explanation to me of what was needed/suggested was very good. I have used My Plumber for many years and have been thoroughly satisfied with the work. This year's visit from Phil Kennedy was no different. He did a superb job, explained to me what he was doing, and gave me suggestions for helping to keep various plumbing items up to date (i.e. once a month run ice cubes through garbage disposal to keep blades sharp, run lemon peels through garbage disposal to keep it fresh, make sure all faucets allow water to run through them regularly). Thank you for the service that you have provided me. When asked I will always recommend My Plumber as a great service. more

The technician, whose name I unfortunately forget was a personable young man (I believe it was Duane, may be wrong) who inspected my heater/blower, diagnosed a lack of a problem, and signed us up for three service-contract. more

I am very happy with the Technicians I have dealt with. But very unhappy with the company say the camera inspection is part of the service call we already paid for. Then after the camera inspection it is a $79 . more

My Plumber called me as a customer service call to see if I had any plumbing problems that I may be intending to get serviced. I did. We scheduled an appointment that same day. They arrived promptly. They were very professional men. They took care of my problems. It was great. more

My AC unit stopped working as the coil rusted out. My Plumber replaced the entire unit. Comments: Just as the weather heats up, our AC Unit stopped working in May 2013. I was hoping it would be covered under our new home warranty so I called them. The insurance company sent out a local HVAC provider to inspect the unit. After their inspection they said my coil was rusted out and it needed to be replaced. Because of the new refrigerants used and the fact that my compressor would probably stop working next they recommended that I just get a new AC unit inside and out. The HVAC company called in my claim to my insurance company but they denied it. They called it a "pre existing condition" and would not be covered under my warranty. The HVAC company gave me a quote of $7,500 to do all the work. Being this a lot of money I decided to get a second opinion and I called My Plumber Heating and Cooling that night. I remembered my parents used them several years ago to replace a water heater, so I figured I'd give them a call. They sent out a representative the very next day to review my unit. They came up with the same conclusion, the coil was rusted out and it would be best to replace the indoor and outdoor units. The other HVAC representative was a bit pushy and abrasive in his approach. The My Plumber guy did a better job explaining the process and the difference between the make and models they offered...Not to mention their price was better. He also walked me through financing options as we didn't have the cash to pay for this all up front. My Plumber showed up (on time) the next day and the two techs walked me through everything they were going to do, how they were going to do it and how long it would take. They were personable, friendly and easy to talk to. They were respectful of my house, did clean work and finished when they said they would. It's been a couple months and everything still works great. I would recommend My Plumber and I'm glad I called them for a second opinion as I saved a decent amount of money and was able to get financing. more

I have used My Plumber Heating and Cooling five times because they are very good. They find issues that I don't even notice. They are a great help. more
