It's unlike any other museum. It showcases really odd things you would never even think of. Things sculpted on human hair, a real horn, etc. I can't remember some of the stuff just because there are so many things to see in such a small space. It's so small that there is not really any elbow room and it's so dark in there it makes me claustrophobic, but all in all, there are so many things to look at it... you aren't sure if half of the stuff you are looking at are real. more

The Museum of Jurassic Technology 3/10/2006

I love this museum because it's like walking back in time and is not like most other museums. The museum is relatively small but its exhibits are very impressive (and contain really random, but cool, stuff). There is complimentary tea upstairs. The museum is usually not very crowded. The museum is only open on afternoons and evenings on weekdays. more

AMAZING experience 8/20/2005

this museum looks as if it were put together by someone who had never seen a museum before, but had been living in a cavern and recieved directions on "how-to-build-your-own-museum" every detail is amazing, from the mineature mobile-home display, to the barking man, to amazing displays which mix sound and visuals... more

A dark warren of galleries is filled with preternaturally glowing vitrines and the sound of tinkling bells. Studiously mounted displays clarify the nature of the Cameroonean stink ant. Wonder how bats use sonar to pass through solid matter? Find out here. Other extraordinary exhibits include microscopic portraits of Pope John Paul sculpted in a strand of human hair, a magnetic fortune-telling machine crafted by a 17th-century Jesuit and meticulous dioramas of trailers interpreted as Ark-like repositories of human culture. All this and not a single Jurassic fossil in sight. Admission: Suggested donation: $5; children, seniors (12-21) $3 more
