Okay, this IS the best place for sushi in Austin, unfortunately everyone knows it! Depending on what day you happen to go, you might encounter quite a wait -- basically the closer you get to the weekend the more crowded it is.
Very traditional preparation with a courteous, but quiet staff and an extensive menu. They even have a few non-sushi options for those parties that have a couple of squeemish ""don't do"" sushi-types.
Cold soy beans are a great starter. We always get the spider roll, california roll with masago, spicy tuna roll (their spicy sauce is AWESOME!) and a few others.
Pros: Great spicy sauce, Cultural interior
Cons: Wait can be long
