Our res'v was for 8:45, at 9:12 I asked for the Maitre d', at 9:15 we were still waiting to be seated. It's understood that situations occur. There are many that accept this deplorable treatment, however I believe that a,"Man's Word is His Bond". That having been said, if Morton's can't keep their commitments they should accept them! Their corperate policy according to Morton's regional Mgr.of Atlantic City, is 15 minutes past one's scheduled commitent. I should think then, that over 30 minutes would be unacceptable and unreasonable........BUT IT'S NOT.... When a customer finds this treatment offensive, and complains, the Matire d' believes his responsibility to provide manner instructions. After having been called the next business day by their Corporate Regional Manager.. I now know why the local operating managment believes it's prudent to antagonize..a customer. Morton's policies seem to replicate those of Doctor's office visits. So much for customer service.
RUTH CHRIST always within 5 min keeps it's commitments, my kind-a Gourmet Steak House!
Pros: Average Steak for a Steak House
Cons: Don't bother with resv's it will always be 30 + minutes past that time commitment!
