""When I got engaged we were already on our way to look at the site where we ended up getting married. I had the guy, the ring, and the site, but what I didn't have was, in my mind the most important part, my dress. Now I live in L.A. County, CA, and my city has three local bridal stores, one is too small (and didn't carry the lines of dresses I wanted), one had no reputation at all, and the other has the worst reputation known to man. So, I decided to drive down to the O.C. and try out Mon Amie. Oh my goodness, my experience was amazing. The consultant who helped me find my dress was amazing too. Now, I am one of those girls who have been planning my wedding since I was 5, and I had a scrapbook of dresses that I liked. She looked at my book and brought me in dozens of beautiful gowns that all fit what I wanted, Ines di Santo, Justina McCaffry, etc. But when I tried on my Reem Acra gown, oh, it was perfect. I knew that when I walked down the isle the people in front of me would say ""Oh, what a beautiful gown."" BUT when I passed them and they saw the sheer back with the embroidery on it, they would say ""WOW!"" I wanted to have a dress that made a statement and left people speechless. And it did. I know that my aunt, my mother, and myself closed the store down that day. The best part was that not once did anyone mention that we were the last people there, we were given the best customer service ever. Then my seamstress was amazing. She was so sweet and kind. She made me look like I was 10 lbs. lighter in that dress. I am so grateful for my experience.""
