Find a dog-sitter on Craig's List instead of this place.\r \r Here's the short version:\r 1. I only got a fraction of my dog's food back and then blamed for bringing in my own ...

A fun place for dogs! 10/19/2008

When I first called them, I thought their phone greeting was hokey - ""we treat your pets like family"". But after leaving my dogs there, they treated them better than family! My golden retriever went swimming! My little dog cuddled with somebody in a rocking chair! And they both came out looking better than they ever have and clearly happy and excited. This is the best place I ever took a pet. Anne K. Pros: Caring people. Amazing activities. Staff and managers certified by national association. Cons: A little pricey, but more than worth it. more

dog kennel 9/4/2008

My dog stayed at Molly's Run a few yrs ago and I will never forget how he looked and smelled like after I picked him up. He was nervous, shedding terribly and smelled horribly. I had even paid for him to be groomed on his last day. Plus, he had lost 5 pounds and slept for days after. This was also the time when he started with terrible separation anxiety which was and still is an ordeal for my family. After finding a smaller, better kennel I have validation for my feeling on Molly's Run. You can pay for 5 walks a day but if you don't get individual attention, a clean area to sleep and some quite time I don't know how any dog or animal could be happy staying at a kennel. Pros: nice website Cons: loud, large/crowded kennel, smells, you are not guaranteed your pets toy back???, not enough indiviual care or attention, more

shocked at my dogs condition 8/12/2008

I have used this kennel for 11 years. Never had an issue until now. My dog has arthritis and that was noted in previous years. She was usually given an arthritis bed. I dropped her off, noting her hips and sore front leg. She walked in on a leash. more

Not a good experience 6/28/2008

This is the second time I have taken my dog there in a 2 month period Pros: Very clean Cons: Uncaring staff, very poor communication between staff and customer more

Happy with the service, but.... 5/27/2008

We just went and picked our dog up after the memorial wknd, and am glad that he came back HAPPY (thatz all I wanted) :). We have left him at other places, but when he usually comes back home groggy (mebbe they medicate the pets so that they dont keep barking, my puppy newayz isnt a big barker), so that way we are really happy, that his stay was good, he looked healthy and happy. more

Rude, uncaring and neglectful. 8/3/2007

Watch out for Molly's Run Country Kennel. Their motto may be ""We treat your dog like family"" but this isn't the case for the owner. Be ready to be charged for services you did not receive and to be treated with a bad attitude. Pros: Nice looking grounds, lots of options, some of the staff are very nice Cons: Owner is rude, cares little for customers, handlers are neglectful, don't expect to get your animal back unless you pay what they demand, regardless of what was agreed on previously more

Not impress with this kennel 6/30/2007

We left our dog with Molly's two years ago and never again!!! When we picked her up she did not even wag her tail she looked VERY sleepy and not happy at all. We took her homewe got very concerned about her health because she was not eating and throwing up. You have to understand our dog eat everything so if she was not eatting we knew this was a sick dog. I called Mollys Run back right away and the owner finely called me (not very friendly)stating from their records the dog was ok but did not eat much the day before we picked her up. He told me to check in with the vet and send him the bill only if it was kennel related.. we take our dogs to Harleysville Vet Hospital and they told us the dog had a viral infection which was picked up from the kennel. I got all that paperwork and sent it to Mollys Run.It was first rejected and I was told they would not cover the cost but by contacting the owner he owner finally paid the vet cost in full but was not a happy camper about it!! No concern what so ever. We nomally deal with another kennel but friends of ours recommended Molly Run to us to try. Even when we dropped off our dog they were not very friendly. I also like my dog to be able to go ourside and their kennels are only inside kennels.. I really am not impress with this kennel and would never leave my dog there again that is for sure. They are high in price also. Would expect better care for their pricing.. I would stick with my old kennel thanks!!! Pros: Looks nice from the outside Cons: No outdoor walkouts in kennels all inside, dog came home with viral infection, not friendly customer service!! more

Care best for my cats 9/26/2006

My Maine Coon cats stay at Molly's, and they go there for grooming too, and these folks are the best! The people there really love animals, and my cats enjoy looking out the window at birds when they stay and enjoy the cuddle time too. I have gone to Molly's for years, even with my previous cat, and would not trust Corky and Smokey to anybody else. Pros: Staff very knowledgeable and loves pets Cons: There are no cons more

My dogs love it at Molly's 9/26/2006

My 2 dogs are frequent visitors to Molly's. They board there, get groomed there and attend dayschool at the kennel. They can't wait to get through the door when we arrive. The staff has always been helpful and I find them to be both conscientious and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Pros: my dogs always come home happy more

Best Service & Facilities 9/24/2006

We were so happy with the excellent services and care our puppy received at Molly's Pet Resort in August this year. I would highly recommend this kennel for anyone looking for the very best pet care for their pets. Pros: Really nice boarding services Cons: none we can find more

Very poor service 9/23/2006

Molly's Country Kennel advertises how well they treat your pet...if the way they treat their customers is any indication of the way your pet gets treated, I fear for the safety of my dog. They false advertise their hours locking the door before advertised pick-up times are over. When handing my dog over for the weekend, I was greeted by the most unpleasant staff who seemed annoyed and burdened by my questions and concerns regarding my pet's stay. After speaking with the ""owner,"" he portrayed an ignorant rude man, who made it very clear that the money is more important than the care of my pet. This ""owner"" made it very obvious that customer service is unimportant. Their advertisement states, ""we treat your pet like family,"" judging by the way we, as humans, were treated today, I am sick to my stomach thinking about who and what I just left my ""dog"" with. Leaving my pet behind Molly's closed doors, I will never know. I highly recommend choosing a kennel that has respect for their customers, which is then an indication that your pet is getting treated equally important too. What a shame and scary situation my finace and I experienced today. I guess, business, is business, is business. more

Mollys Severely Neglected by Dog 9/19/2006

My 7 yr old Siberian Husky was severely neglected at Mollys. I paid much money (daily boarding rate plus add'l services) for my dog to be in a safe environment while I was on vacation. My vet contact info was on file as well as a cell phone for emergencies. When I picked up my dog (luckily I picked her up 2 days prior than originally planned b/c of vacation changes), my dog could not walk, was very lethargic and looked extremely sickly. Mollys said she was just tired. Within 1.5 hours of picking her up, I took her to my vet, and within another 1.5 hours, she was admitted to the Vetrenarian Hosp of Penna. She was almost DEAD. She needed emergency care and emergency bloood transfusion. Her illness was not caused by Mollys but they left her in a sickly state for 3 days (as verified by owner Bob Payne) with no call out for assistance from my vet or any vet for that fact. Both vets that saw her the same day I picked her up from Mollys said that if I had picked her up 2 days later as planned, she would have been dead from not getting the attention and medical care her condition demanded. Mollys slogan says that 'They treat your pet like family' - well no pet or family member should ever be neglected like my dog was. My dog lost her battle with her disease and we miss her very much. Mollys should be ashamed of how they neglected my dog. I share this info so that you are informed and make the best care decisions for your loved pet when kenneling is needed. Just remember - she was neglected for 3 days with no medical care......no animal deserves that kind of poor treatment. more

There is very little to no turn over so you become familiar to everyone too. I highly recommend this kennel.
