Mike's Garden Center Inc

Last week, Mike's Garden Center accepted delivery on two loads of beautiful wholesale plant material from my nursery. After the plants were delivered, and accepted in good condition, Mike put a hold on the check without any prior discussion or authorization. \r \r The hold is for the entire month of Feb. on a check over $10,000. It was clear to Mike Cook that we priced the plants with substantial discounts to get immediate payment, which we greatly needed. \r \r Mike has lied to me, and deceived me to get my delivery of green goods. He told me that he would call me back just to get me to hang up the phone! He hides behind his new employees. He told me that he'd call me back - but he never has and he avoids my calls.\r \r If you are thinking of doing business with this man, turn around and run! ...I'm running to my District Attorney! more

First time I neeeded to return a plant. I took it home to see if it would look good in a certain part of the flower bed. I decided to return it ( within 12 hours ) . It was still in the original container, was never planted, in perfect condition. When I tried to return it I was told by the lady who looked totally could care less, that they do not take returns or exchanges of plants. I will certainly let my friends in my garden club know to boycot this company. Obviously, customer service is not important to them. more

This nursery will NOT honor their SIGNED warranty. I bought two $500 trees and "" to make sure"", had THEM plant them. One is fine and the other within four feet is HORRID and dying. Their solution is to come out and fertilize it ( in February no less ) and ""see if it comes back"". Charlie further said "" If we replaced everyone's trees we'd be out of business."" Pros: Close to my house, so went there. HA, NOT a good reason I now see. Cons: HORRIBLE and won't honor written warranty. Am having to hire attorney after spending over $1000 on trees fomr them. more

Horrible nursery. Overrun with rodents and overpriced. All of their locations have a horrible rodent problem and stink. There are rodents running around the whole store. They also never turn on the air conditioner which adds to the horrible stench. This place is probably going to go out of business soon. Go to Calloway's. Cons: Rodents, stinks more
