Mikes Carwash

I went through a mikes carwash in my new car & asked many questions. I like many others was skeptical of the place. I was assured they take full responsiblity if anything happens to your car. Nothing did, the first few times we stopped. Then this last time, BOOM, big scratches like sets of nails going down drives side panel & lg chip of paint gone off front tire well. I know this because I always get out & inspect after every wash to make sure car is clean.I should at leat get moneys worth. It wasn't there 1st wash but it was on the 2nd. Like some of the other posts the rude staff took pics in the dark bays telling me it was for my benefit, also said company would never pay i would be lucky tp get phone call. They were right I got kiss off letter & free coupon. I called distric, then corporate, & finally the BBB. They are all saying take up with your insurance comp. Funny thing just filed a claim a few weeks before & ins was out to take pics, so I have proof it wasn't there before. Now Im playing the waiting game with the BBB & corp office. Just a piece of advice to everyone I drive a nissian versa I more than fit in there mold of a track & they just about blow mew away, the claim is that the disclaimer sign excludes them from covering any potentail damage to my vehicle, they claim you more or less use car wash at your own risk. I dont see that on the sign. Im guessing neither did youor the other 46 people who have filed complaints with the BBB. more

Went to the one on Rockville Rd in Indy. Came out my car was scratched several times. The manager Jason told me that I could file a complaint but it will just be denied. He took pics of my car "in the Dark" and Would not to let me have a copy of the complaint. He was rude and talked AT me had me in tears (im female)> I informed him that my car is Brand spankin new and he told me my kids could have done it! not Mikes for sure. HAND CAR WASHES ARE THE WAY TO GO NOT MIKES!!!!! more

completly took the finish off my center hubs on my 4 runner. they paid for it wouldn't go through any Mike's they use Hydrochloric acid in there pre-soak and wheel cleaner, accourding to a tv station in indianapollis. not sure you would have much of a car lefted if you washed very often. more

Mike's car wash ripped the side panel off my car...then gave me a free car wash coupon for the several hundred dollars of damage to my car. I drove in with my car free of damage and drove out with my car having several hundred dollars worth of damage for which they say they are not responsible. I wonder if they that's what they told the owners of the three cars damaged when one jumped the track and the two behind it crashed into it at their car wash? They had to honk their horns to get them to turn it off. One collision repair company said that they receive a claim against Mike's at least once a month. more

I cannot stress enough that you must avoid Mike's Carwash. I talked at length with them about my concern in taking my car thru their carwash due to the low-profile wheels. They assured me everything would be fine, and if they did damage anything, they would pay for the damages. Well, sure enough, they damaged the left-front wheel the first time thru their carwash, and they immediately denied doing it. I've talked to others who have had similar experiences. Simply, try someone else. more

My car was still dusty on the trunk and one of the hubcaps was still grimy after using Mike's Carwash on Colerain! Even the windows were streaky and I had to rewash them. This wasn't any better than going to a gas station car wash, and it cost 3 times as much. more

Went through Mike's Car Wash on 12/28 and the washing and drying system had so much pressure that it broke my entire wiper system and caused $337 worth of damage. The corporate office said it was not their carwash that caused the damage but it was indeed. If it was already broke, it would have been broke before I went to through the carwash. Windshield wiper systems are not listed on their sign under "things we are not responsible for..." more

I must say this has to be the best car wash ever! my car has never shinned this good after a wash, ever. I must say those other reviews stating that their car got damaged and didn't get fixed, $2500 worth of damage?!?!? get a clue, don't take your busted up car to a car wash and expect them to pay for things that break off. Especially when they have a 8 ft sign saying " not responsible for cracked, rusted or previously damaged items." they are apart of the BBB... you don't get into that if you screw people over. Trust me everyone..this company will bend over backwards if in fact they do create a damage. I've heard stories where a customer has caused a wreck in the tunnel, fled the scene, and mikes car wash paid for everyones cars to get fixed........ if you don't call that quality service.... i don't know what is. i will be a life time customer with them, unless my car is falling apart... then i will have enough sense to stay away from hazards. We've been using the Mike's Express Car Wash on Lafayette Rd, Indianapolis, IN for years now. We take many of our customer's vehicles through there after we've serviced them and they come out looking great. Jay Niederhauser and his crew take very good car of us and there facility always looks great! Thanks for the good work - it's hard to find it any more. Bob Hill. more

You have damages caused by their wash and they dont want to pay!!!!!!!! I have used them for years...... until last week when a trip thru the wash caused $2500.00 in damages, and they are barking about disclaimer signs! omg! WHAT???!!! They re gonna pay, and I didnt even get a refund, or vaseline..... but hey, this is what lawyers are for! DONT USE MIKES CAR WASH! YEAH, THEY ARE QUICK AND YOUR LAZY BUTT DOESNT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TILL YOUR NUMBER IS UP!! more

I would NOT advise anyone to take their car to Mike's Car wash. I recently took my car there and a lady 2 cars in front of me hit her breaks causing me to hit the guy in front of me, who hit her. The employees assured me that everything would be fine and they would take care of the damage done to my car. Well... they lied! Because that ladies insurance is claiming that she is not responsible, Mike's car wash is telling me that I am SOL! That they are not responsible for what happen to my car. Now how is that when I had no control over my car? I was INSIDE their car wash on the rollers. I understand that she should not have hit her breaks but, I cannot help that she's an idiot. Mike's said they would take care of me and they didn't. They are telling me that I have to pay for the damage. That is just ridiculous! They need a sign at the entrance of their car wash that reads, "Wash at your own risk" because if your car gets damaged inside their car wash.... they are going to tell you the same thing.... OH WELL... fix it yourself we are not liable. Don't take your car there... it's not worth it! more

mike's is a good machine car wash. The prices are sometimes a little steep, but the process leaves the car very clean. As long as you're comfortable with have a machine wash the car, you'll have nothing to worry about with Mike's. The line can get a little long on weekends when the weather forecast is good. more

Mike's Express Carwash is THE best carwash around. They always use warm water and you can feel you car getting clean as you drive through. The soap actually foams and the air actually blows all the water off your car! Their full service is great. My car loves getting bathed at Mike's! more

Mike's offer full service carwashes that are just wonderful. Pamper you wheela and take them to Mikes. Mikes washed you car in warm water. Watch as the techs polish and shine your car to squeaky clean perfection. The line at Mikes get a little long, especially after snowy and rainy weather, but it is worth the wait. more
