Quick and professional 1/8/2014

Called and set up appointment which was friendly and easy. Repairman showed up on time and fixed my springs very quick for a good price. I just had a gear go bad and I will be calling them again. more

The technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly to a bad PC board. Had a replacement with him. That solved the problem and it was reasonably priced. more

Prompt, courteous, and competent 1/2/2014

Metro Garage Door does excellent work. They always show up on time and are very, friendly, helpful, and efficient. They initially installed our garage door for us and later adjusted the springs in it when it wasn't opening all the way. The technician who came out arrived and finished the job in the window of time given and also replaced the strip against the bottom of the door because it was peeling, for no extra charge. Metro Garage Door offers very reasonable prices and I highly recommend them. more

I would recomend, good service...so far. 12/15/2013

I did already send a review. But here goes again. The only problem I had was that the door installer left grease/oil on the garage floor. My garage is old but it did not have oil stains on the floor and I did not appreciate the floor being messed up. Other wise I have been very happy with how the doors are working so far. more

When Metro Garage Door Co. came out, we didn't necessarily have to be home for the service. Everything would be fine and handled as long as we left the garage door open. It was kind of an emergency situation, so that was definitely a nice convenience. We had a lamp that wasn't quite staying on when it was supposed to, and a problem with the beam that runs between the two side of the garage. Both were pretty simple fixes, but we still liked how quick and neat the experience turned out to be. more

Should have replaced that old garage door years ago... 11/8/2013

Twenty years ago we moved into our home in Roseville. The previous owner had just put in an inexpensive single sheet cookie-cutter garage door that got used every day but had no character or insulation. Finally this summer we decided to make the move and replace the garage door. Did some reading and comparing and felt that any investment in quality would be beneficial in energy savings as well. Contacted some big box stores and got their prices, always comparing apples to apples, then contacted Metro Garage Door. They came in with a competitive price, plus the warranty on the door was for a lifetime. The frosting on the cake was when the Service Technician arrived to install it. He was professional, exacting, meticulous, knowledgeable, tidy and friendly. Everything has worked great and we really enjoy having a garage door that lets light in during the day, is quiet and compliments our home's appearance, plus the added insulation factor. more

Very professional and efficient service 11/7/2013

Metro Garage Door is a great company. They fixed the garage door at my mother's house after the spring on the door broke and we couldn't lift it. They identified the problem right away, replaced the spring and gave us some tips on how to keep the rollers on track. The workers were very nice and knew what they were doing. Even before the spring on the door broke the door did not open smoothly. After replacing the spring, the workers noticed that one of the pulleys on the side of the door was not working properly, and they took care of it. It seemed that someone, from another company or maybe even a family member, had attempted to fix it previously but had not done it correctly. Overall we had such a good experience with Metro Garage Door. They fixed the garage door with no hassle and it has been working well since. more

Everything was just fine. Our tech did a good job. 11/6/2013

I called and scheduled the service call with Metro Garage Door Co. and then I left, so it was my wife who was home while they were here. She said the guy they sent was great and everything. It was a real stupid thing that was causing the problem with the door. It wouldn't go up and down, but it was really a dumb thing that was causing that. The tech fixed it in a minute and a half. Afterwards, he told my wife we probably needed a tune up. The door was ten or some years old. He kind of sold us on this maintenance. He greased or oiled the rollers and checked everything out. That was a little bit of a surprise for me. If I had been home, I probably wouldn't have opted for it, but my wife did and he did the job and it's fine. I'm happy with the job. It was just a little bit of a shock when I came home and my wife explained what had happened to me. Otherwise everything else was just fine. Setting it all up was very easy as well. I called and he scheduled the call in the next day. He was right there at the time allotted and everything worked out fine. more
