I called and scheduled the service call with Metro Garage Door Co. and then I left, so it was my wife who was home while they were here. She said the guy they sent was great and everything. It was a real stupid thing that was causing the problem with the door. It wouldn't go up and down, but it was really a dumb thing that was causing that. The tech fixed it in a minute and a half.
Afterwards, he told my wife we probably needed a tune up. The door was ten or some years old. He kind of sold us on this maintenance. He greased or oiled the rollers and checked everything out. That was a little bit of a surprise for me. If I had been home, I probably wouldn't have opted for it, but my wife did and he did the job and it's fine.
I'm happy with the job. It was just a little bit of a shock when I came home and my wife explained what had happened to me. Otherwise everything else was just fine. Setting it all up was very easy as well. I called and he scheduled the call in the next day. He was right there at the time allotted and everything worked out fine.
