Metro Garage Door

I've used Metro for a repair on my garage door and I've probably used them five times in the last twenty years. The service has always been wonderful. I continue to use their service because of their ability to come as soon as possible and the work is always done very well. The workmen who come out are very capable. more

I was very pleased with Metro Garage Door Co. The guys who came out were very courteous and explained things to me, which I really appreciated. After my new garage door and opener were installed, I was shown how to oil it. I always forgot which spots were best to oil! They even gave me a can of the right kind of oil for application. more

Technician repaired broken torsion spring. He obviously knew exactly what he was doing and got the work done quickly. The results were excellent. The technician left a 5 year warranty sheet for the work. more

The repairman was replacing the spring and had mentioned the cables were worn and might need replacing. While I was deciding whether to replace the cables, he had made adjustments and was pretty much done with everything, than I decided to have him replace the cables. He was more than willing to go ahead and do that even though he was done. more

We decided to replace our old garage door opener, the service man came the next day and in an hour had everything up and working again. We are very happy with the results. My parents garage door broke in Minnetonka. We called Metro because of their reputation and were very pleased we did. We ended up buying a new updated garage door opener that also has a keypad outside. The tech that came out was courteous, knowledgeable, and took care of my parents. Would recommend to anyone needing a garage door company you can trust! more

Used them for service and door replacement over the years, but not happy with last experience. When I had door installed last year I asked the installer what needed to be done to maintain the door and hardware. Did as instructed, but door and hardware became progressively noisier and balky. Called for service before first year was up and service guy said that I was given wrong information on maintaining door and hardware and I would have to pay for a service call for him to lubricate the areas I had asked about when the door was installed. He also used product the installer recommended against. Besides having to determine who was right (my money is on the service guy), I was charged even after the service guy called the office. Will certainly use another company next time I need service or repair. more
