The table and chairs we purchased were delivered promptly. The delivery men were very professional and courteous. Not a scratch on anything. We enjoyed their friendliness. Thanks for having great employees. Our salesman was also very helpful and not pushy, which we appreciated. He explained and showed us the items we were interested in. Once our selection was made, the sales transaction was speedy and handled efficiently. The rug we purchased was bound and brought to our car quickly ? no delay. The home delivery was on time. In Dec, 2009, we purchased a La-Z-Boy Lift Chair from Mathis Bros. for my 94 year old mother. Everything was fine until Nov, 2010 when the leg lift would not go down. Mother climbed out of the chair pulling a muscle in the process & ended up in the hosp ER. The chair was picked up for repair and returned 3 times in Dec. 2010. It worked for about 4 weeks then broke again. Each time it takes about 2 or 3 days to get picked up, 2 or 3 days for repair and return so she is without a chair for about a week. She is in a small apt in assisted living & this is a real problem for her chair to be gone. Went to Mathis Cust Serv to try to find a resolution. Asked to trade for a regular small recliner. Mathis says as long as her warranty is in effect they will only pick up chair for repair. We have 2 more yrs of warranty. Mathis Bros picked up the chair for repair 3 times in Dec. and everytime promptly quit working again i short time. This time actually worked about 4 wks before breaking again. Went to Mathis Cust Serv to try to find a resolution to the problem. Mother is in assisted living with a very small apt. and this is her chair in her room & she really needs it. Asked Mathis is trade for a small regular recliner. They would only agree to continue to come get the chair for repair as long as her warranty is in place which will be 2 more yrs. When the chair quits, it takes them 2 or 3 days to pick up, 2 or 3 days for repair and return so each time she has no chair for about a week. Mathis Cust Serv is the worst I've ever seen. After going in to their little office which is far away from their main floor, there were several people in there, non of which even acknowledged our presence for several minutes. I finally asked if someone could help us & was told they were busy & would be with us in a minute. Some of these people were not on the phone & the one who answered me was talking to one of the others. I am just trying to find a solution but no one seems to care. Terrible way to do business. more

We bought a new recliner in December of 2010 and now the seam have all ripped open. Bad furniture. We will not be going back. more

We've been customers for several years now, and have had nothing but great luck with this store! We usually buy extended warranties with the furniture that we purchase, and this has resulted in replacement of a couch we bought because of a hole in a seat cushion!\r Helpful, kind, and understanding staff! more

We were looking for some furniture for our daughter that just moved out. We were wanting to help her start out with some furniture for her apartment. I could not believe how much we were able to get for our money at this store. We have shopped at Mathis Brothers several times in the past, but it has been a few years. I really thought that the furniture would be more expensive. I realize that this is not going to last forever, since we purchase lower end furniture. But I have to say I am very happy with the value. Most of the furniture was made by Ashley and happened to be less expensive that we could find online. They also seem to have added a lot more than just furniture. We purchased lamps and other accessories for our daughter. \r \r I don't remember such a great selection the last time we shopped here. I read several of the negative reviews when I was originally shopping on the web. I almost didn't even go to the store. I have to say my experience was great and I am not more

I just moved to OKC and heard all of the commercials on TV. I decided to check them out and was pleasantly surprised with the selection of high end furniture. We moved here from Wisconsin and I have never been in a store that has such a huge selection of furniture. We sold all of our furniture with our old house and we needed to fully furnish our new one. The store offers a free design service that helped us choose just the right pieces. Normally, when someone says "free" you think you may not really be getting a true designer to assist you. That was definitely not the case here. I had a gentleman by the name of Todd that really knew his stuff. I couldn't have done it without him. He even came to my house to assist in the design selection. I can't say enough about this place. Go check it out. more

Great selection! This place is huge and they have the best prices. I shopped around for a TV at Best Buy and several other locations and these guys blew away the competition on the TV I purchased. I don't think most people even know that they have a TV section. You need to check them out. more

The sales staff are 100% commission. They must sell twenty five thousand per week or they are gone. That's why they follow you around the store and won't leave you alone. They will do anything to get you to buy something from them. The credit department will lie to you and the once it's in your house, you better like it. Because it's yours no matter what. I'll never buy anything from them again. more

The furniture selection and prices are quite good, but do NOT bother with the furniture protection plan as it is a complete waste of money. The plan has so many exclusions that it really covers very little. Mathis Brothers prides itself on customer service, but when you have a problem, they are just very sorry.\r \r I purchase a crib for my grandson and once he began teething, the crib showed teeth marks and toys would scratch the finish. The crib is very sturdy, but clearly the finish is not suitable for a baby. We found that any claim needed to submitted within 5 days and for ongoing problems like we are experiencing, we are expected to submit a claim every 5 days and have someone come out every 5 days. This protection plan is not suitable for furniture that is at high risk for accidental damage. Mathis Brothers said they were sorry, but were not willing to do anything beyond apologizing. more

We had a problem with the auto lift chair. The repair was very quick and well done. You have a very nice, personable service people who are courteous and very informed about the products. I have been a satisfied customer for years, even at the old western store. more

Our home is a large, three bedroom and is 100% furnished by Mathis Brothers. We have been marred for 61 years. Very satisfied Customers. more

This is the second time we have went and bought furniture from Mathis Brothers and both times our new furniture has ended up being poorly made. Our first experience we bought two couches and a wicker dresser, the wicker dresser ended up breaking within a month and the two couches had tears in the cushions and pillows. We ended up going back to Mathis Brothers to buy new couches with a hideway bed in the larger couch. Within a week of puchasing the couches a Large tear ended up on the bottom of our large couch, and three months later the smaller couches leg was broken. When i called Mathis Brothers about my warranty and fixing the smaller couch they told me that I NEEDED TO BRING THE COUCH TO THEM they would only pick it up if i paid extra. Which was not disclosed to us when we bought the the warranty for extra money. We live over and hour and a half away from the city and cant just up and take the couch to them. They have horrible product and service I do not recommend them if your looking for quality product and service. more

We bought a baby crib from Mathis Bros. Tulsa location--long story short, they delivered our crib to the wrong customers and had to hunt it down for us\r \r We bought a bed from Maths. Bros Tulsa location--the bed showed up missing parts of the frame\r \r We bought a bed set from Mathis Bros. Tulsa location--the set was missing a pillow\r \r Though I love the selection, the customer service is about as bad as can be. I am therefore planning to take my business elsewhere... more
