Everyone needs to make it to this store if you are in the market for any kind of furniture, it doesn't even matter if you are just looking for a lamp! They have the best selections for the lowest prices... I am so happy to have all my furniture from that store. they have great customer service, and a great environment! Wow, This store is absolutely amazing! The customer service was outstanding, the people are soo friendly! And they seem honest in their opinions, not like they are just trying to make a profit on selling you crap. I love this store and recommend it to anyone in the OKC, TULSA, area for Oklahoma. And they have two stores in CALI as well-- INDIO, ONTARIO. These are people you can TRUST!!!!!!!!! more

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! 4/30/2010

So after having one of the worst expereiences at Bob Mills, I went next door to Mathis Brothers, and I am not from here so I don't know exactly which is better. BUT NOW I CAN TELL YOU. My goodness, I walked into MB shocked at the class of this place. The salespersons where so sincere, honest, and wanted you to get the best deal on what you wanted. Everyone worked hard to find what you needed, no lazyness was spotted and it was so well organized. not to mention they have an amazing coffee shop which is great since you have to walk through such a huge store! I recommend this store for absolutely EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This must be your TOP choice for furniture! Such great quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bad experience 4/14/2010

I have shopped with Mathis Brothers for over 14 years for bedroom furniture, livingroom furniture, and dinette furniture. When my furniture wears out I always come go purchase furniture with mathis brorthers. Well back in February of 2008 I purchased a brandnew living room set and first the furniture was delivered they delivered me a broken lamp that i paid a lot of money for. I took it in and the customer service said that they would order me another one because they were out of them in the warehouse. So a month went by I kept getting the run around and then she told me that they were out and they had gave away my lamp. A manager called me back and said that I would need to bring the lamp in i told them they they kept the lamp and he basically accused me of lieing and said that he didn't find it and there was no proof that i left the lamp there. I purchased a five year protection plan and now I need repairs to be done and it has been over 6 months and I have not got a call back. I had more

Beware - there are risks involved 4/8/2010

Shop there at your own risk. Prices are pretty good, however service is TERRIBLE. They must give lessons on "How to Offend and Infuriate Your Customers" while they are in their endless meetings. How do I know they are endless? Just try to call and get help from customer service when they mess up your order (which happens frequently). You will be told they are in a meeting. If you buy anything, don't buy the warranty, (they won't replace it), only buy something in stock, pick it up yourself and inspect it before you leave. more

Fiasco at Mathis Brothers 3/16/2010

On February 12, my husband and I bought our first complete bedroom set. After being married for over 23 years, this was a very big deal. We also purchased my dream TempurPedic mattress, a dual Cal King adjustable. We spent a little over $9k. We were told that the mattress was a special order and that it would be 14 days for delivery. We asked that everything be delivered together.\r 14 days to the day they called and said that the mattress and bed frame were ready for delivery but there was a problem with the dresser and mirror. We told them to get the missing peices and deliver it together as we had originally agreed. We were told to expect a call on Tuesday (this was Saturday). On Thursday we received a call and requested a Saturday delivery.\r On Saturday they show up with half a bed. Our dual cal king only had one mattress. What a joke! 2/23/2010

We recently purchased a China Hutch, Curio Cabinet, and a Sofa from Mathis Brothers on 2/7/10. When they delivered the items on 2/10/10, the shelf pegs were missing for the glass shelves in the china hutch. I called them that evening and was told to call back the next day as customer service was closed.\r \r I called the morning of 2/11/10 and was told the pegs would go out in the mail to me that day. By Tuesday 2/16/10 we still had not received them so I called again. I was told that they had to come from the factory and they were sent out on Saturday 2/13.\r \r On Thursday 2/18 we still didn't have them so I called again, only to hear that they were shipping to Mathis Brothers, not me. And I was given yet another excuse as to why I still couldn't put my dining room back together. \r \r I asked for the pegs from the one on display since I had already waited this long and was told they couldn't do that. Great Experience!!!!! 1/24/2010

I had some concerns about making a purchase from Mathis Brothers based solely on the reviews posted, but my experience has definately confirmed that you should always take everything with a grain of salt; there are always 2 sides to every story! My experience was wonderful every step of the way, which is what prompted me to write this. I have made many furniture purchases over the years, and I don't think I have had any go quite this smoothely, thanks to the great staff at Mathis. From the first phone call with our sales person, to the calls through customer service to the communication and eventual delivery experience, everything was GREAT!!! The sales people are vultures waiting to pick your bones! 12/29/2009

We had just moved to OKC and we were told mixed reviews of MB Furniture Store. We decided to give it a try. Upon entering the building we noticed a plethora of sales people standing around the upstairs glass railings where the escalators go up. It reminded me of vultures waiting to pick our bones. We did manage to find a nice salesman who gave us some reasonable space while we looked around. We ended up purchasing a King sized sleigh bed, a dresser w/ mirror, a high boy dresser and 2 bedside tables. A fairly sizable purchase. We were pretty happy with our purchase and our salesman. Our delivery came and went without any major hassles until we noticed that the dresser w/mirror was missing. The delivery men didn't know anything about the missing piece. I called our salesman directly (he had given me his card with his cell phone number). He checked out my complaint and called me back to say that the dresser was on back order and would be arriving in about 1 week. Well the week came and more

The sales man went above and beyond to pull some strings so that we could get our television delivered the next day. Also the shipping manager gave us great advice about getting our tv delivered to our house. Overall a good experience and great prices. more

I just bought a few pieces of furniture there last week and had a great experience with the salesman who was very helpful. It was a few minutes to closing time and the shipping dock was going to close and he went out of his way to get our order in before closing (he actually ran and passed other salesman who were telling their customers they would have to pick up tommorow) to get our order placed and when we were loading he was walking out to his car and came over to make sure the shipping people had pulled the chairs out of the boxes to pre-treat them since I bought the protection plan (they didn't of course because they were ready to go home as well) So im glad he stopped by! Like any company it's all about the individual you deal with if they care about the customer they are helping and treat them with respect you will have a good experience. Bad experience with Mathis Brothers 3/21/2009

I wanted to shop around for furniture for my house since i just moved in and needed some furniture. The salespersons are everywhere and kept asking me what i'm looking for. I told them i'm looking around. They followed me around and kept on talking abt which ones i want. It made me feel really umcomfortable/ annoyed. Common sense how do i know which ones i want when i just entered the store in 10-15 mins. where are many things to look at and compare. They looked unhappy when i told them that i needed time to look around. They tried to pressure customers instead of making customer shopping comfortably. more

Decent deals in the back room 11/26/2008

Took my mom there for a chair and spent way too much time waiting on the reps - one of them was actually working with another couple while we were waiting for him - they work on commission so it must be rough over there.\r \r Found a chair, but due to other reviews, insisted on one that was in stock. Was delivered same day, no hassles.\r \r Also, bought an $800 desk for $130 just because it was missing a drawer. Got a $400 hutch for $75 because it was "out of style". So check the back room - there are some good deals there - many items have minor scratches that are easily dealt with or ignored. more

Horrible customer service 11/18/2008

I've just completed my 17th phone call to MBFurniture to unravel a series of mysteries concerning my credit card, my special order, delivery dates and various whodunits. \r Bottome line, the upfront shopping experience at Mathis Brothers is exhilerating -- lots to choose from and seemingly knowledgeable people. However, actually GETTING what you paid for/ordered is a nightmare, especially when dealing with a variety of phone answerers and managers who are "in meetings" any time the customer requests elevation of the concern. If we ever get what we've ordered, we'll never do business with them again, and we were going to furnish a 3,800 sq ft home there. Guess times aren't bad enough for them to earn our business. more

Mathis Brothers Own Factory Direct and Guess... 10/14/2008

I bought a sofa and a love seat in Factory Direct on Sep. 15th 2008 and I paid for the delivery ($60.00). The delivery was scheduled to Sep. 20th 2008 and when they unload the love seat from the truck we notice that the sofa have a rip in the bottom and we agreed to return the sofa that would be replaced.\r They call me to say that they don?t have the same model available and I agreed to wait to receive the replacement. They call me again on Oct. 1st scheduling the delivery for Oct. 4th , they call me again on Oct. 3rd to confirm, on Oct. 4th they call me at 8:00 am, 10:00 am and 11:30 am. They never show up?\r On Sunday Oct. 5th I went to the store and talk to the Customer Service Manager and explain to her how mad and frustrated I was and we rescheduled the delivery to Oct. 12th and guess what? Horrible customer service 10/5/2008

I purchased living room furniture on 09/08/08. One chair had to be ordered and it took over three weeks. When arrangements were made for delivery, I specifically made sure a weekend delivery was available. When delivery was made on sunday the wrong couch was delivered. I sent the couch back and I called my sales person, Anjali to complain. The delivery guys said this happens frequently and I should go to MB and talk to my sales person and make sure I get the right couch. I went to MB and asked for Anjali. Her manger came to help me, where was she? I told him the situation and he them took me to customer service and assured me the right couch with the right pillows would be delivered, then left the office. The customer service girl said I could call after 3 pm for the delivery time on monday. I explained the importance of getting the delivery today and she was like a robot repeating there is no same day delivery. I ccontinued to explain that I would not be home during the weekdays and I had specifically made arrangements for delivery today. Once again the robot response, ""No same day delivery."" I spent nearly $2000.00. Mathis Brothers Do Not care about customers. If I ever get my couch, I will seriously shop around for my next furniture. worst experience of my life shopping at Mathis Brothers, treatly rudely, not allowed to shop, treated as though we were going to touch something or get something dirty. No more shopping at Mathis Brothers 9/15/2008

On Saturday, September 13, I shopped at Mathis Brothers in Oklahoma City, looking for various items. We were met at the door by a saleswoman whom we immediately informed we were looking for a number of things and simply wanted to browse. We headed upstairs first to look at children's furniture and she was on our heels the whole time, not allowing us to look at or inspect anything. We were pretty certain what we wanted and found it. We continued looking, but she wouldn't leave us alone. She finally left to see if they had the item we wanted in stock and we had a few moments to look on our own. We then ventured downstairs to look at couches and recliners. She kept directing us to things we weren't interested in. WE WANTED TO LOOK AROUND< SHE WOULDN"T LET US. She kept pointing things out and when we found things we wanted, she told us that wasn't for us. We know what we want.
