We were really looking forward to our family gathering at Match but it didn?t go as well as expected. My husband found the restaurant online and called to make a reservation to accommodate 16 people. He was told that they couldn?t accommodate 16 people in the dining room, but they had a ?big booth? in the lounge area and a standing area near it with plenty of counter space, enough for our party. We asked about reserving other booths in the lounge area so everyone could sit down, and were told, that they didn?t reserve the other booths, but we could come early as the area is first come first serve. So my husband and I took a trip to the restaurant to ?Check out the space.? The night we visited, there happen to be reserved signs on the large booth and another booth right next to it. When I asked the hostess about this, she told me it was reserved for a large party. When I told her about my reservation in a couple weeks, and how we were told we could only reserve the one booth, she got nervous and agreed to reserve the other booth for us as well. I should have known right then that the people managing this place had a bad seating policy, but we still went on with our plans. The night finally arrived and we went to the restaurant, they did not reserve the second booth for us as promised. Then when one of the other booths became available and members from my party sat down, they were kicked out by the hostess, who told them that the booth was reserved! Two women sat down in the booth, and when I asked them if they had reservations, they replied, ?No we just walked in the door.? My husband was very upset and got no results after speaking with the manager, he asked for our drink check and we left the restaurant, never eating a single bite. We were really looking forward to this family dining experience at Match but what we really got was burnt.
