Lulu's never fails to amaze me with the great food delivered within 20-30 minutes to my door step. When they've had to call to say they were out of something, they were extremely polite. The delivery guy is always very cordial and not your run of the mill delivery guy. I can't say enough good things. Even dining at the cafe is a nice experience. Thank you guys for keeping the customer first. more

Love the food but I really hate ordering delivery from here...$5 is a ridiculous charge for nothing. more

The delivery is pretty quick, and everything I've ordered from here to date has been great. They've got my endorsement. more

The delivery is a bit slow, took them a little over 1 hour to deliver the breakfast plate. The side fresh fruits that should come with the omelet was missing, and the wheat toast is very hard and dry. Over all not satisfied, but will give it one more chance. more

I've eaten a couple times at the restaurant a long time ago and saw them on the delivery list, so I ordered sweet potato fries, caprese salad, the chicken tenders, and the parmesan potato chips for my friend and I. The caprese salad was really good. I also loved the parmesan potato chips (I got it with a side of ranch). Yummy. The chicken was decent and came with three different dipping sauces. The only thing we didn't love was the sweet potato fries. But, this is a good restaurant overall. more

Took them 2 hours to get here. The food was cold, no discount offered. The only redeeming thing about them, is the food tasted slightly good, even though it was cold. I will never order online again from them, this is a place to go to, not get delivery from. more

Whenever I get an order it takes usually an hour and a half to get here. Then the delivery guy gets lost. Then they forget the code to ring my apartment. Next time I order I hope they are quick because I love this place! more

What happened to this restaurant? 8/28/2010

We stopped for dinner at Lulu's Cafe while visiting LA because I figured it must be decent since it has been around since I lived in the neighborhood in the late 1980s. But it was a memorably bad meal: overcooked, lacking flavor, all-in-all very poorly executed. And it didn't help that the place was not very clean. The only redeeming feature was the friendly service. When I got back home, I checked the reviews and was shocked to find that they are so glowing. Some of the menu items looked familiar, but this place must have changed ownership because it bore no resemblance to the cute, yummy-sounding restaurant in the reviews (or in my memories). So, diners beware! more

Shhh... it's a secret... 3/21/2010

I'm going to let you in on a little secret... Lulu's is owned by the same people as Toast on Third Street and has the exact same menu -- right down to the killer fruit cup. Those in the know don't bother waiting an hour for a table at the trendy Toast, they high-tail it to Lulu's on Beverly Blvd. instead and get their chow on in record time. Like its older sister, portions are big -- even the heartiest of diners have trouble making it through the chicken chow salad or the customizable omelletes and scrambles. Unlike its older sister, however, the diners are less concerned with looking put-together in their Juicy sweats and designer sunglasses. Lulu's is a neighborhood spot where locals feel comfortable showing up in threads that they did not purchase from Nordie's at the Grove. And that's a good thing. Especially the morning after a night out. Pros: Fruit cup, salads, breakfast Cons: Ambiance more

Owner was the Sous Chef at Melisse in Santa Monica! 12/3/2009

The food is always consistently good and Lulu's is great at accomadating customer's likes and dislikes. Great for picky eaters! On top of serving awesome breakfast and lunch fare, they also have a dinner menu that will surprise you. Since the Owner used to be the sous chef at Melisse, the dinner menu has delicious entrees like NY Steak and Osso Bucco with wild mushroom risotto and its BYOB! Its definitely my favorite neighbourhood spot! Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance Cons: None really more

My family and I live in Phoenix. We were driving to meet friends and we were recommended to Lulu's cafe' Pros: The taste is amazing! If you love crepes you will love Lulu's Cons: I would love to eat there more often. more

Love their breakfast! 9/8/2008

We've been to Lulu's several times for breakfast on the weekends. Never a wait (we usually get there before 10AM). We love sitting outside to people watch. I love the different varieties of eggs benedict. Pancakes are good too. Anytime we have out-of-towners visiting, we take them to Lulu's for breakfast at least once. The cafe ole is delicious. Their coffee shake is great too! Family-friendly place. Service is always great, food is always delicious. more

Great Food, Great Service, Great Ambience-Best Brunch Spot~! 6/23/2008

I have been going to Lulu's since I moved to Los Angeles about 5+ years ago and have been a die hard lover ever since!! Amazing Omeletes! The best fruit bowl and pretty much every fabulous sandwich and breakfast dish you can imagine. This is the first place I bring friends or family to when they're visiting town. I rarely wait more then a few minutes for a table, even at it's busiest and unlikely other trendier breakfast spots in the neighborhood, you don't have to deal with any of the LA attitude from the staff. The servers are friendly, quick and never leave your coffee mug empty long. You must go here, you'll definitely be a lifer! more
