Never trust this company, they lied from the beginning telling me I had been pre-approved, and when I got to dealership it was a lie...I never signed anything for them to pull my credit and told them NOT to pull my credit and they did anyway!! I should have followed my first instincts and ran from the place!!! more

Very poor service 9/22/2014

I bought a Kia Sorento. Really like the vehicle. Sales service was so-so. After the sale, the service was awful including the salesman who was ok up front. I gave them many chances because I had many issues and it just kept finding a new bottom. I would suggest not going to this dealership and try another Kia dealership. I wish I had trusted my gut and just left. I gave them to many chances. more

Nissan sales service horrible 9/6/2012

Went to pick up a car and was ignored. Given a car that still had plastic all over it. There was a charge for floormats that were missing and the staff was no help at all. Shop somewhere else. more

Abysmal service, discourteous staff 12/16/2010

Good: No portion of my experience was pleasant.. Bad: The service staff didn't answer or return calls. Repairs were quoted as under warranty, then inexplicably not covered by the warranty. Service was slow - despite no work being done on my car, it took 40 minutes to bring it out. The staff here doesn't seem to care about customers' time. I had to leave my car there for 4 hours to find out they could not replace a muffler with their stock.. Improvements: Quality of service, honesty in quoting, and better organization.. Other: Given the runaround on the warranty and apathy of the staff, I would not trust this dealership to service any vehicle.. more

Everyone except the cahsier is an Idiot. 12/4/2009

Went here and bought a 1995 Buick Riviera test drove the car on E. Salesman Greg was supposed to fill it up before pick up. Car ran out of gas in intersection 2 blocks away on the way to gas station. Police officer told me they were idiots. Got gas, found out it had a coolant leak and radiator was rotting. Pick the car up again purchased a warranty, found out the warranty is inactive and the dealership has already been paid. Drove car home again and it started over heating found out the mechanic didn't plug the radiator fan harness back in. Do not buy from Greg Justus or used manager Carl. They will never call you or your insurance company back and avoid you at all costs more

If you're going to take your VW anywhere north of chicago, hit up Liberty Auto. They know what they're doing and have a good reputation for their service department for a reason. more

Nissan Service...Awesome! 7/27/2009

I hate taking my car to service departments because I'm usually in a hurry to get back to work (not much time with a 1 hr lunch break from mundelein)...but i went to LAP with a coupon for a discount on an oil change and they were awesome. Got in and out with no hassles. Was a little over an hour (including drive and of course lunch) so everything fit in nicely! more

Service Coupons= Reason to Go 6/29/2009

I bought my Passat a few years ago down in Peoria before I moved up here so I don't know about their sales dept, but I always pull coupons from their website before I get any service done. Their offers are really competitive especially for as expensive as VW service can be-- Nice waiting room and they offer loaner cars which is convenient. I haven't taken my Passat anywhere else because I've always been happy with them. more

The first thumb is for the sales department, the second for the service. I bought my Jetta a couple years back. It was a positive experience. Instead of trying to push a car I didn't have as much interest in they told me to wait until the new crop of cars came in. I thought this was impressive that they weren't worried that I would go elsewhere and I didn't. The Exact Jetta I wanted came in and I bought it. Additionally, the service is top notch. I recently came in for a tire change with a 15% off coupon and they informed me they had a better promo going on which would save me a couple bucks. From my experiences at Liberty Auto Plaza it really seems like they will do whatever they can to get and keep your business. more
