Need Good Eyebrows???? 7/21/2007

June will give you eyebrows from heaven. It is always a treat to see her and talk to her about beauty stuff - she was with MAC and gives make up lessons as well. The people that work at Robert Leonard are very nice also. I have had quite a few services but June really stands out. I believe one of the owners is at the front desk when I have gone in. He is so knowledgeable about products and completely unassuming and approachable. more

not that great 5/5/2007

I had booked a facial with a woman that has been in the business for years and it just wasn't all I had expected. I guess going some where that does hair gives the experience a whole different feel. I don't know i am trying new places around town to find the best and this isn't it! The facial was supposed to be with the "best" although she said she was new to the spa but i just don't see it. Save your $$. Pros: one stop shop Cons: one stop shop!! more

Best facial 1/20/2007

After suffering through a particualrly cold winter my face felt dry, red, and just very irritated. I went to Robert Leonard in search of relief and had the best facial ever! Suzanne was wonderful and took her time in order to ensure I had a relaxing experience. I left the spa looking and feeling refreshed. The next day my skin continues to glow and the redness is gone. Erica Chang with Robert Leonard is the best hair stylist I have ever encountered. She listens, she is positive, and truly is an artist. Christian is a master at guys haircuts..He has been doing my wifes hair for sometime now and i gave him a shot...Not only is he definitely a guys guy....He knows how to help with out of control hair and very responsive to helping me with a couple products that i was too afraid to ask about. I feel great! 6/13/2005

I recently had the, hands down, best massage ever here! I had a body scrub and massage with Tanya and it was great. She managed to get out every bit of tension and left me feeling relaxed and glowing for weeks. I've never been disappointed with my spa services here - I would say it is the best in Seattle. My only complaint is that the "Quiet Room" that you wait in before and between treatments is NOT quiet. It's not so bad at first, but when you come out a facial feeling relaxed and then wait in there for your next treatment - it's a little uncalming. After the massage I received though - it didn't matter! more

Luxurious, great customer service, reasonable prices considering the quality of the hair cuts and coloring services. Could not be happier. Staff has very low turnover and it shows- everyone seems happy and relaxed. The best my hair has ever looked:) I will definately be going back. more

The haircut I received was the best ever! The hairdresser knew exactly what I wanted, and did an excellent job. While the charges vary, this particular person only charged $35. I have been to other salons that charge that amount, but did not feel as satisfied with the result. The value and service at Robert Leonard is outstanding. SO wonderful! 8/10/2003

I shared a day at the spa with my mom for mothers day and it was a wonderful experience. We each had an aromatherapy bath of some sort which was relaxing and wonderful. They let you put your ouw oils in the water which is nice. I also had my eyebrows waxed and was overjoyed with the results. They were perfectly balanced and clean. I highly recommend them. Worst Wax Ever 7/20/2003

I went to Robert Leonard based on the things I heard on here. I've never received such a bad eyebrow wax in my life! The lighting in the room was very dim, so I didn't see the horrible results until I was outside in my car. Though the service was great, the quality of the work performed was not. more

Most expensive in town, but worth it! 3/18/2003

I paid more for my foil and cut, eyebrow wax and dye than I have ever paid at any salon, anywhere... that said, it was great work. There's a reason they are in business at these prices. If you can afford it, pamper yourself and go here. PS to Citysearch editors - they only gave you the product samples that you mentioned in "tips" because they knew you were reviewing their salon. They don't normally offer this for us, their normal patrons. :) Pros: good hair work, service-oriented empl Cons: $$$$$$ more

Amazing Color 2/24/2003

I've had a difficult time finding a quality place to perform anime or extreme coloring. On a friend's recommendation, I booked an appointment with Cara and was not disappointed. She spent the time listening to what I wanted, offering suggestions when appropriate, and I walked out with the most amazing sky and cobalt blue highlights on black hair. Need a quick wax? 10/15/2002

Although not the most affordable wax pricing in the city, it ranks as one of the best. Comfy full length lounges, good before and after prep and a crafty hand make it one of THE best places to be waxed. more

I tried Robert Leonard based on a recommendation from a friend. Lucky for me, because Robert Leonard is simply the finest spa and salon in the city....and I've tried many. The people are fabulous: caring, considerate and very talented. And having used almost all of the services I am always amazed at the skill of their practitioners and the pure happiness of their employees. (It is a telling sign that most of them have been there for years). While their press has been limited to major national publications like W and Town & Country instead of the local press, it is a sad oversight on their part, as Robert Leonard gets an A+ for consistency and quality. The Robert Leonard Salon experience is not to be missed. The moment you call to make an appointment, a warm, comfortable feeling begins. You are welcomed, not in a smarmy way, but genuinely by the front desk group. The robe you don for your visit is big enough to cover you. The room in which you wait (briefly) often has a bowl of crisp apples along with hot coffee or tea. And, then the glorious moment when your person comes to get you. Mine is Marika! She's a genius at hair. She's also a genius at knowing just when to chat and when to let you sit with your own thoughts. I recommend the RL Spa to anyone. more

Fabulous Staff & Great Services 8/2/2002

I have been going to Robert Leonard since 1997 when my stylist moved there from Gary.Manuel. I love it! RL is so relaxed and welcoming. The people are all nice and unfailingly friendly. I have gotten a number of different services over the last 5 years and I have never had a bad experience. The massages can't be beat. The facials have made me glow, the nail services are excellent, and my hair always looks amazing thanks to Beverly. I highly recommend this place! As far as I'm concerned, this is the best place in town for all spa and salon services. Customer service is unsurpassed: they remember your name and make you feel like no request is too big or too small. The technicians are top-notch and ever-friendly and timely. The place is luxurious yet comfortable and for a reasonable price you can feel like a queen for the day. I've always dreaded going to the salon, but now that I've found RL, I look forward to going every time. Thanks! more
