Here is the story. It's long, but read it because it explains how poorly their management operates. One of their drivers hit my car. It's funny because this type of accident happens one in a million times. We were waiting at a red light on an uphill street. Their bus starts rolling backwards and hits my car damaging the front of my car. The police comes, makes the report and estimates the damages for my car over $1500.00. I call their insurance and they forward me to Lakeview bus lines management. After talking to their manager, it seemed that they were going to take care of the situation quickly. Their manager asked me to go and take two estimates and they would write the check. I take two estimates and fax it to them. Their manager tells me that based on the pictures their driver took on the scene of the accident, that only the grill was broken. Now, imagine this 30 or 40 seater big bus with a hard steel bumper rolling backwards hitting your car. Also, I always keep a about a cars length at stop lights. That impact scratched my bumper, bend my hood, broke the holes where the grill is attached, broke the grill, damages the hood latch, etc. The police officer did not estimate the damages over $1500 because he is stupid. In the end as rude as they were, they offered me to either take $500 or nothing. I said no and I called my insurance. My insurance send their adjuster and the estimate was as the police said about $2000.00. My insurance contacts Lakeview Bus Lines and they still disagree with my insurance and say they will only pay $500. Now my insurance is going to surrogate them but, in the mean time I had to pay the deductible out of my own pocket to fix my car for something that was not my fault. \r
