Katz's is one of those places that everyone has been to, but far fewer have been back. There is a circle that loves and heavily frequents the place, and I have no problem with it, because the food is really quite good. Unfortunately, the prices are stacked as high as the reubens. There aren't many places that I really get stuck on the price, because I'm willing to pay for quality -- but I think Katz's goes even a bit beyond this. At 2am, short on options, it's a goldmine. At noon, there are better and cheaper options.
Pros: good NY deli food, lots of parking
Cons: surprisingly pricey
