I feel like Karma is a wonderful healer. The enjoyment you get from her massage is so relaxing and healing. I always leave her place feeling like a completely new person. I also recommend Candleing by her especially if you have sinus issues she has mastered the technique and also gives you a face massage which is heavenly. I recommend her to everyone I meet. I love a great massage and have treated myself to enough of them to know when I?ve had something really special. The whole experience was a pleasure from the moment I walked through the door, to the moment I walked out with a big, relaxed smile on my face. Karma is a very friendly and genuine therapist. She cares about your experience, takes time to learn your body and explains what she is doing. I've had massages at resorts, but in hindsight, they seem like one-size-fits-all . I'm still amazed with how much time Karma took on my first visit and how insightful she was about my back pain -- she even gave me some lessons in stretching. I learned a lot about myself and feel I've found a "body consultant." Karma's studio is peaceful and she is welcoming -- she treats you like a valued friend. I've been with Karma for YEARRRRS! I can honestly say I've never had a better massage. Karma takes the time to get to know her clients and personalizes your massage each time. Finding the right Massage Therapist can be very difficult, however, if you live near Phoenix you have to go see Karma. My neck and shoulder have been giving me problems over the years and Karma was able to ask the right questions, give an incredible massage, and identified other areas that need work. I've never been to Scottsdale before but I knew I wanted a massage. After doing some research on citysearch, I decided to come to Karma...I mean, 1 1/2 massage for $75? At first I was like, thats kinda low but why not and that turned out to be one of the best massages EVER!!! She worked every single muscle and made me feel relaxed from the moment I layed on the bed. Its a very simple location so you would never think of the location as some high end boutique. But it doesnt matter, the place is clean and the atmosphere in the room is all you need. Karma is not only atune with the human body, but with the specific needs of her clients. I am a professional dancer, and have had many many theraputic massages for the last 15 years, and can truly say this has been the best thus far. She genuinly cares about the well being of the body. Karma is incredible! She gets to know you, and your lifestyle, so that she can best help with you targeted massage for your needs. She's a warm, caring person, and just a pleasure to be with. I've had many types of massage, chiropractic, etc, but Karma is by far the best and most effective treatment I have had. I see my chiropractor for immediate relief but the massage Karma provides has lasting effects. She provides a good, deep massage but she works in cycles, starting gently and working deeper over the course of the massage so that you almost don't realize you're really getting a deep massage. Many deep tissue massage therapists go right for the throat, so to speak, and they can be painful. With Karma, you may have some mild discomfort but she gets deep by taking her time. Karma is great! I look forward to her massages. She has a gentle, but deep touch, and is great at working out knots and sore spots. She is very responsive to her clients' needs. 1 hour is never quite enough - if you can afford it, get the 1.5 hour massage. You will float away after she's done. more

I just received a massage from Karma and was impressed with both her ability and demeanor. Her introductory massage offer is a real treat: a two hour session for on $75! Over the two hours, I was treated to a full-body massage that really heightened my awareness of how much pain I had been holding in certain smaller areas (as a Chronic back pain sufferer, smaller muscle pain is often masked by that from my back). Aside from her technique and knowledge, which were readily apparent, what set Karma apart from many therapists I have encountered was her emphasis on communication throughout the massage. She checked in with me enough to allow me to ask for more or less pressure or help her find a particularly tense spot, but not so often as to distract me from relaxing or breathing properly. Most importantly, Karma seemed genuinely concerned with my well-being. Even though I enjoyed her massage, she was aware that I needed deeper therapeutic work done on my back than she could dispense, given her frame, the laws of physics, etc. Instead of making something up about not wanting to go to deep because of my previous back injuries (or some such lie to keep my business), Karma, unsolicited, gave me a referral to another therapist (a male) who does deep work on her. I really appreciated her candor and willingness to try to find me the best help possible. A massage from Karma = Heaven on Earth. I have a spinal cord injury and receive weekly massages so I know a good one...well, I love my therapist at home but this was a completely different experience. From the second I arrived at the adorable and quaint location (her office is tucked into a sweet little complex, draped in vines and silence) I felt completely comfortable and relaxed. The entire massage (which exceeded a heavenly half an hour over what I was charged for) was tailored for my individual needs and wants. I plan to revisit whenever I'm in Arizona! Karma surpassed my expectations with her personality, skills, and her business as a whole. She is totally in tune with her clients and gets to know their bodies and what works for them very well. She will change her technique or use the same style, it's totally your preference. She really cares for clients well being and gives great suggestions on how to improve your overall health. From the minute I walk into her massage room the stresses of the day just melt away. After the incredibly relaxing experience I just had with Karma, I had to write a review. Her touch is amazing, intuitive, gentle, and healing. I went to see Karma for a lymphatic drainage massage, my first of that kind and my first massage with her. The massage was an incredibly enriching and soothing experience for me (I feel asleep!). The massage studio is conveniently located, pleasant, and really peaceful. Karma is very knowledgeable and is obviously concerned for the wellbeing of her patients. I really couldn?t recommend her more highly. I?ve had several massage therapists, and she is, by far, the best. You?re really making a mistake if you choose someone else. My chiropractor recommended Karma Therapeutics after my fave Scottsdale massage place, The StressLess Step, underwent management changes and my preferred therapists all left. I didn't want any resort-style, recreational froo-froo rub down. I needed a place that regards massage as a healing art and a therapist with the ability to filet me so when I get off the table I feel boneless. I historically prefer male therapists because they have bigger hands and are stronger than most women, so when I first met Karma I didn't think she had the hands or the strength I needed to get me right. But after my first visit, I became a believer, I left feeling weightless and relaxed, and have been returning regularly for over a year. Pros: Cozy & friendly atmosphere. Expert massage. I had problems with my lower back as so many people do and after going to see Karma I have gained so much of my life back. I see her once a week and I never miss my appointments. Karma also has done her famous ear coneing if you have any sinus problems this is for you. I am trying out a body wrap next week cant wait! After coming down from my "massage high" I had to write Citysearch and let people know about the best massage I've ever had. I've been to numerous therapist at resorts and chains but nobody had taken the time to work out the soreness and personalize the therapy.
