I made an appointment on Monday for Friday afternoon. I wasn't picky about the time, so the gal gave me a 2pm with 'Jessica'. I had not been to Zen Bella before, and was looking forward to a new experience.
Well, it was definitely new. With only one other customer visible, the staff seemed strangely rushed and a bit dishevelled.
I arrived about 10 minutes early, and was told 'I don't know where your stylist is'. Strange. I was seated in a nice waiting area, and waited 1/2 an hour. The gal came back and told me "I don't know where your stylist is, she left and I don't think she is coming back. We don't have anyone else to cut your hair, you will have to reschedule".
I couldn't imagine why someone else couldn't step up and take care of me. A quality business does that. I guess it would have been easier to fathom if they were busy, but they weren't. The entire time I was there, no other customer came in, and none left.
Needless to say, I did NOT reschedule! I called Visible Changes and Alisha fit me right in - and gave me an excellent cut.
So, if you'd like a nice waiting area with comfortable seats and good smelling candles, Zen Bella is the place. If you'd like an excellent style and great service, then Visible Changes is perfect!
Pros: Nice waiting area, which is good, because I waited a long time for nothing.
Cons: Poorly run, bad customer service, poor quality employee.
