Johnny's Uptown Restaurant

This is what fine dining is supposed to be. throwing some parsley on a plate is not a meal. Johnny gets that. I don't want so much food that I have to carry three ""To-go"" boxes out with me. Johnny gets that. The chef here is perfect, he knows how to cook. I had baked whitefish that tasted better than most place's sea bass and I got it for almost half the price. Everything LOOKS delicious. this is one of those restaurants where you want to ask the table next to you, ""what did you order?"" \r My waiter was great, attentive but not pushy. The ambience here is like one the old style supper clubs back east. I was right at home. I'll be back as often as I can. I'd recommend it to anybody. Pros: Classy but not stuffy Cons: nothing- I love it there more

I do not know who you are thinking of or who you are?! Give it up and relax!! I hate to call you the B word but you are you little selfish woman( am I am using that generously) you littlle pretensious, there was one and there shouldn't be another one. This in a fabulous restraunrant that should be frequentented by many. Just because you are a litttle b*(&*&)*&^*&^ who can't discover how important life is you should go away!!! more

I have had uniformly bad experiences at Johnny's Uptown. This mostly involves the service. For instance, last night, I sat at a table for 12 minutes before being brought a coke and having my dirty table cleaned. They were not busy, by the way. I was never brought a menu, and I waited 45 minutes without once being checked back with or receiving a bill. When I asked about emailing a complaint, the waiter began to yell at me. When I finally got up to try to get my tab, the waitress complained to others that I had ""stood in her way"". The food is not that great, either. Avoid, at all costs. Pros: None, except half price snacks at happy hour, but you will wait a very long time to get them. Cons: Terrible customer service. more
