This was different. I learned alot! Certainly not for kids. Neat little stuff in the gift shop. Real easy to get to on the bus. It you want to do something out of the ordinar...

Creepy But Fantastic! 12/30/2005

There is nothing quite as startling as the Museum of Surgical Science. Located in a former mansion, the museum contains artifacts from our own human history of practicing medicine - and some of it is quite scary! Medical instruments, tables, even a replica 19th century pharmacy, bring to life the strange and often unhealthy medical practices of a former age. In a city full of museums, this little gem is far too often overlooked! more
