While looking for apartments in the Montrose area, I kept seeing the In the Loop sign on every nice apartment building. So I gave them a call and they were very friendly and eage...

Worst

I've tried calling them today several times & got no where - basically it goes straight to voice mail. What kind of business is this?

In the loop properties was amazing. Jen Payne helped us in 1 day find a great place to live. I can't believe how fortunate we were to find her and her company. She really made our relocation seamless. She was candid, experienced, and helpful in finding a place for me and my family (with kid) to live. Kudos! Jennifer Payne at In The Loop Properties was our indispensable guide through Houston's residential jungle. She got us past 100 yr old fixer-uppers, around the shopping cart pushers (and their 3 legged dogs), to our penthouse in the sky. She is brilliant. This was my first experience looking at housing in Houston and Jeny saved me hours of research time by simply knowing everything about what was available. Her expertise when talking with home owners and apartment complexes was invaluable as well. I am certain I would have made a decision I would have regretted if it had not been for Jeny's watchful eye. I highly recommend you call her before trying to sort out the dearth of Houston's listings. Your free-time and bottom-line will thank you later. Pros: Expertise, punctuality, efficiency, location Cons: Jeny doesn't need a roommate. more

I had been hunting for a great apartment for weeks, and was starting to get a little depressed about what was out there. I contacted In The Loop, and Jen helped me find the perfect apartment in just two days. Not only that, but she showed me several nice apartments that I would have never found on my own, and had a great sense of what would and would not work for me. I would definitely recommend In The Loop with zero reservations. Pros: Great location, friendly, fast, efficient, and professional. more

Fantastic!! 8/12/2008

I just used In The Loop Properties to find my new apartment and was very very happy with the service I received. I was assigned to Shannon, and when she had to be out of town she made sure to put me with another one of her coworkers (Drew)... between the two of them, I found a WONDERFUL apartment and got all of the details smoothed out rather quickly. Shannon even called me from her vacation to make sure everything was going alright! I also had a bit of a time element in my search (getting back from a job outside of Houston and needing to find a place within a day or 2.) Not a problem: this company is efficient, communicative, and really listens to what I want in an apartment. Thank you, In The Loop! Pros: Quick, friendly, professional, offices are centraly located Cons: None that I can think of! more

Ada helped my husband and I find the perfect apartment for us in just one day! We are moving from out of state and she blocked out two entire days to help us find an apartment. Even though we found the apartment on the first day she spent the next day showing us around the city and telling us about different neighborhoods, restaurants, and things to do. We both feel like we not only got a great apartment but found our feet in a new city. Ada is warm and welcoming and a wonderful person to work with and made a potentially stressful few days an absolute pleasure. Thanks! I'm extremely new to Houston and knew absolutely nothing about the city before arriving. I work downtown and knew that I didn't want to deal with traffic and driving long distances each day; everyone I spoke to told me that I needed to live in ""The Loop"" I got in touch with In the Loop Properties and had the good fortune of having Jeny Payne as an Agent. Jeny took the time out of her day to drive me around town and show me nearly every part of Houston (I would have been completely lost without her). She quickly figured out what i was looking for in a property (a big yard for my dog) and was showing me homes the next day. We found a spot in The Heights thats abosolutely perfect! I never would have been able to do this on my own... I would suggest this agency to anyone.... Another thing thats pretty solid is that the services of In the Loop are complimentary! If you happen to be looking for a place to live inside the loop, then look no further than In The Loop Properties. These folks are knowledgeable, friendly, and curteous. Ada Wesley was excellent to deal with and she certainly went out of her way to address my pressing housing need. I highly recommend this organization and Ada in particular. more

I spent weeks looking for an apartment in the Montrose area that would fit my needs and was unsuccessful. I was frustrated and uncertain about what I was going to do about finding a place to live. I read the reviews for In the Loop at Citysearch and sent them an email. I got a response from Ada that day. She listened to my situation and gladly offered her assistance. Shannon was great!! 6/22/2008

When I was moving to Houston this past December I spent alot of time looking on my own trying to find my dream apartment. I have a large dog which really limited my options but I didn't want to settle for a bad neighborhood or a crappy floor plan because of it. My sister in law highly recommended Shannon. She showed me a combination of privately owned places as well as larger complexes and helped me find the perfect place. She did not try to sell me on something that I wasn't going to be happy with and honestly talked me through the pros and cons of each place as we looked at them. It's been 6 months now and I am still in love with my apartment. I cant imagine moving to a different one, but if I did I would definitely use Shannon again. Thanks Shannon! I am relocating from Austin, TX to Houston and In the Loop came highly recommended to me from some friends who are teachers with Teach for America (who sends their corps members to In the Loop!). They have wonderful offices in a great, convenient location in Montrose with easy access to everything inside the Loop. Pros: Everything! They are wonderful. more

Couldn't ask for more! Highly recommended for out-of-towners 6/17/2008

This is the first time my husband and I used a locater service or a real estate agent. We were hesitant and skeptical to even try at first. But Ada was great. She spent two full days with us, viewing as many properties as possible. As we described our reactions to properties, she responded by adding properties to our list that might be a good fit and deleting those that might not have the features we were responding to. We were asking for a low-rent property, but she was completely invested. She was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and a pleasure to work with. A+, highly recommended. more

I highly recommend In The Loop for your housing search. I looked around the internet and narrowed my search parameters before contacting In The Loop. I contacted them with my preferences and scheduled an appointment to see some properties. Based on our discussion, I found the condo that I wanted the first day. In fact, I took the first property that I visited. Mike Pushkin is the agent that I worked with. He was awesome! He exceeded expectations in customer service, knowledge of what was available and knows the area intimately. Mike made this the best move that I've ever had. Call In The Loop! They are the best. Great, fast service - I found a wonderful apartment in three hours! 5/7/2008

In The Loop is great for those of you re-locating to Houston from out of state. I had only ONE day in the city, and we finished with tours, paperwork, and lease within three hours (including an hour lunch!). Everyone in the office was super nice, honest, and had my interests in mind. It's a great service if you want to live in the heart of the city. Ask for Jen...she rocks! :) more

Mike Pushkin - Excellent Realtor - Very Diligent and Polite 4/28/2008

Mike Pushkin, with In the Loop Properties, was extremely helpful, he immediately responded to multiple inquiries with highly detailed and organized information. My roommate is from out of town and I did not know where to begin when looking for an apartment. After telling Mike our price range and what we were specifically looking for- he returned a detailed list, contacted the prospective locations and told us about any deals or specials. Without Mike's assistance, we would have to map each location, set up appointments and go through the tedious routine of filling out unnecessary paper work. In the Loop did a superb job of expediting the process of looking for a residence. The time and money saved was priceless; Mike was very polite, informative and upbeat throughout the day. Ask for Drew! 3/30/2008

I was initially very skeptical about using an apartment finder to relocate to Houston from Boston. I read the reviews about the In the Loop, however, and took a chance. And everyone who wrote positively about the company is right! Drew Pursell spent five hours showing me several different buildings in Houston, and in the end I have a great apartment that I could not have found on my own. If you are a skeptic like I used to be, here are some things you should consider: Pros: great service, no agenda Cons: none! more

I found In the Loop on the web and contacted them without a reference. From the moment that Drew answered the call everything went smoothly. A little conversation and he understood just what I wanted and sent me lots of apartment links to look at. It took visits to just 3 locations in about 2 hours to find the perfect apartment. Moving to a new city could have been traumatic, but Drew made it easy. I can't recommend In the Loop and Drew highly enough! Pros: Friendly, helpful, and very competent more

In the loop properties made finding a house to rent so easy. Jen Payne really took care of us. After just one day of looking at houses and apartments, she found us the perfect one. Jen also made it really easy for us to apply, sign our lease, and move-in all in less than a month. Jen was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had, answering e-mails and phone calls in the same day. There is no reason to not use an apartment locating service, and I highly recommend using In the Loop Properties. more

Fantastic realtors - ask for Ada! 3/4/2008

We were referred to Ada Perkins Wesley at In The Loop by a friend, and we had a terrific experience. She worked within our guidelines and showed us nothing but fantastic properties. We felt she really understood what we were looking for. She was always available to answer questions, no matter how small, and all around was just a great resource. We chose a nice house to rent in a neighborhood we love, but had never heard of until she suggested it to us. She really knows her stuff and cares about her clients. She was with us from start to finish and we just can't say enough good things about her! more

Ask for Mike! 1/17/2008

We were moving from Pearland to Montrose and Mike met with each of us separately over a Friday and Saturday and even met us late in the evening to accomodate our work schedules. He had picked out several places within our price range and made special arrangements with our new LL to accomodate our golden retriever. We were pretty specific about our desired location, size of place that we wanted, and of course price range and Mike showed us a lot of places and we had 2 choices both of which were great. We are really happy with the duplex that we are moving into and can't wait to get moved. Mike definitely found us the perfect place! Pros: accomdated to our schedule, picked out places that met our very specific requests Cons: None! more
