In the Loop Properties

I've tried calling them today several times & got no where - basically it goes straight to voice mail. What kind of business is this? more

I have seen some hard times fall on many companies but I think this one takes the cake. Not only do they slam their competition (very unprofessional) but they will steal your application fee and never return your calls. more

After reading all the great reviews here, I went ahead and contacted this agency, and got in touch with Ada. She seemed helpful at first, and gave me her cell phone number and email, but I got her first email a little late. I decided to ignore it and giver her a little more time, before making a judgement call. After replying to her email with properties I was interested in, I never head back. Word of advice to agency/realtor .....don't take on projects you cannot complete. Wouldn't recommend. more

While looking for apartments in the Montrose area, I kept seeing the In the Loop sign on every nice apartment building. So I gave them a call and they were very friendly and eager to find me a place within my budget and expectations! My agent, Drew, was very knowledgeable about the area. He even checked in a few times after I signed my lease for feedback. more

Amy with In the Loop Properties was so much help. She did our searching for us, and truly found the best places based on our criteria. My wife and I spent hours and hours doing our own internet research (because we're not from Texas), and her list was so much better than hours, so we gave up searching for ourselves. Pros: Very responsive. Knows Houston in and out. Cons: No negatives to speak of more

Because we're doing a cross-country move, I communicated with Ada mostly by email and phone in the two weeks prior to our trip to find an apartment. We only had one day to find a place, and Ada found us a great place in a great neighborhood. We had a lease signed in four hours! She stayed within our price range, helped us to get the amenities we wanted, and obviously had a great rapport with the apartment managers. I highly recommend Ada. As an owner of investment real estate, I would give my business to no else. In the Loop (Shannon Chapman) Properties does an oustanding job of keeping you in the loop as to everything concerning your property while it is being listed to lease. Mike was our realtor/leasing agent and was great to work with. I originally saw an add for a condo in the Montrose area in the Houston Press and that's how I got into contact with him. In addition to stating he'd take me out to look at the property he quickly emailed me more listings that were within the price range and specifications I gave him. While mulling it all over he stayed in contact with me through phone. I decided on a place and we set up a time to go see it. He was on time and prepared and we even got to meet with the landlord which was really nice. He knew we were also checking different apartment complexes so when we gave our application for the condo he asked us how that search was going and if we wanted to check 1 more place before we handed over the deposit. Thought that was really helpful and it was a great apartment, but we stuck with our 1st choice. He took care of everything after that via phone. He was in the office on a Saturday and it was easy to meet with him there. He also took our applications and showed us 1 more apartment complex in the pouring rain and seemed happy to do it. Would definitely recommend. Pros: convenient, fast, friendly Cons: nothing i can think of more

My boyfriend and I moved to Houston and lived with a friend for a bit. We were desperate to get out of that place and get into a place in a better area. I saw an ad for In the Loop and filled out our interests online and within minutes I had an email in my inbox from Jeny Payne welcoming me and giving me a list of apartments I may be interested in. Within the first week, she showed me a place that I really liked, but my boyfriend didn't like the area that well. Jeny would continue to send me lists and keep me updated. It took a couple more weeks bc not much was available at the time, but we finally found a place. She showed us 2 places that day. We basically forced her to show us one place; she told us we wouldn't like it, but she came on over when we called and showed us the place. She was right - not the place for us. But we did say it was exactly what we wanted but with a more updated look. She told us 2 streets over there was a place she'd like us to see. We didn't have an appointment and people were living here at the time, so it took some calling around and arranging on her part, but she finally got us in. As soon as I walked in, I knew the place was ours. Thank you Jeny! This place has been amazing (we've been here almost 3 months now). It's absolutely amazing. In the Loop has the best listings in town and the staff is really friendly and attentive to what you want. I recommend! And if we ever do leave here (we will have to be forced out!), then we will certainly give In the Loop a call. more

Moving to Houston and wanted to live close to work. I spoke with Drew and after giving him my criteria he was able to find me a very nice apartment within walking distance. Since he has worked the area for so long he also was able to hold an apartment for me even though others were interested. Drew also was helpful with local utilities and with the overall knowledge of the area. Pros: Took extra time to see me through the process Cons: None... great guy and company more

My husband and I were returning to Houston after three years in the Northwest. We wanted to find an apartment in our old neighborhood and were excited to find In The Loop. We were sure that based upon all the excellent reviews that we would be in good hands. What a disappointment. The agent, Jennifer Payne, was initially very helpful, but once we selected an apartment to move forward with-we never heard from her again. I called, left messages and sent emails to no avail. We were forced to continue a search on our own and make a long distance decision on an apartment with no advocate in Houston. Perhaps this was a fluke, however I would never recommend this particular business to anyone. more

I am new to Houston and needed someone to help me decide what area of Houston would be right for me as well as a great apartment. Drew was amazing! I've never written a review on citysearch but felt that my great experience with In the Loop Properties warranted it. In the Loop Properties really have some great properties! I am pretty picky because I wanted to stay in a certain area. I found a property that was perfect for me and I was ready to rent ASAP and they were ready also. There was a little confusion because they thought the 1 bedroom was available, but it was not. :-( more

We first met Shannon when she listed my fiancee's condo for lease. She gave him great insights to what would help him get it leased quickly and for the price he wanted. Though he initially balked at some of her suggestions, when he finally gave in, the place leased almost immediately. Score 1 for Shannon. Shannon Chapman at In The Loop Properties was phenomenal. From the beginning, she was totally committed to helping me find an affordable, safe place. I appreciated her honesty -- she wasn't afraid to tell me unsavory details about neighborhoods and management companies. Shannon was efficient, professional and incredibly nice -- she knew every neighborhood inside and out, and she helped me find an absolutely gorgeous apartment. I had a lot of anxieties about moving cross country and starting over on my own, but Shannon made the process as smooth and pleasant as possible. You absolutely need to call this service if you are moving to an apartment in the Houston area. The Realtors here delivered exactly what I was looking for: I was moving into the loop and had only about a week to find an apartment before starting a new job, and I needed help finding available apartments. Not only was my agent able to find a number of units in my price and time ranges, but he was also able to provide extremely helpful information about the neighborhoods I was looking into, and Houston in general. I couldn't have found this level of knowledge just by looking at rental websites. more

Jenny with In The Loop did a fantastic job in finding an apartment for me. I did not want to do the stressful searching for a new place so I contacted them to find me a place in within my budget. I received multiple options from them and personal recomendations from Jenny. She found me the best deals that were available for the properties that I was interested in. All in all a great service with a personal touch. I would definitley use them again if I move and would recomend them to any of my friends.
