We have a home in Brunswick that we rent out so all repairs have to be done by picking companies out of the blue. The work Hendrix did was done fast and correctly with no problem dealing with me on the phone. They were very polite to me and the renters. We could not be happier. more

Chris is a knowledgeable technician. He came in, assessed the problem and worked to fix it. He had a fellow technician with him and I could hear him explaining what he was looking for and how he was working through the problems he found. I had to leave and he sent pictures and texts letting me know what he was doing every step. I really appreciated that. Excellent service! more

Hendrix Air put in new air conditioning a few months ago for me and it turned out good. I've been using them for years and they do a great job, I'm very happy with them. Their customer service is great and it's pretty easy to make an appointment with them. I turn to them for all of my air conditioning needs and they haven't let me down yet. more

I called for our unit to be charged up. From the time the Tech arrived he was trying to sell me filters, a wi-fi wall unit and wanted to show me 6 different plans I could choose for him to charge up my a/c. I was so upset and kept telling him he was called out for charging up my unit. He told me he was not allowed to just charge it! They had been two months prior and it was not an issue but now it was. I shook his hand and asked him to leave. They sent me a bill $65 and i called and was very upset as I did not get a service. I called the moment he left my house actually and the girl said she was sorry and she'd send him right back to charge my a/c. NO she didn't they never contacted me again beside an emailed bill. Awful, customer service and if they can't sell you a monthly check up thing they push they don't want to do anything if they can't get you locked into a plan. I will never recommend them or use them again. RESPONSE FROM HendrixAir: We are sorry that our system of options for different levels of repair wasn't conducive to this situation. This could have been handled much differently by the technician, although he was only following procedures. The service manager did contact this customer to make a return trip, only to have it not be scheduled. I honestly cannot say what caused that issue, but it seemed to be a honest mistake and lack of communication. more

All I can say about this experience is WOW!!! Not only was Mike Crews professional, he was personable, kind, and very thorough. Of my many years dealing with HVAC companies, I have never had such a pleasant experience. He answered every question I had, and explained everything he did step by step. I have never had any company thoroughly clean my unit like Mike did. Thank you, Mike!!! more

Very high pricing, be sure to get second opinion. I got quoted $1500, $800 or $550 depending on warranty for same repair work. Went to another well known company and paid $150 for the repair! Be careful they talk a great game! more

I've been working with Hendrix Air for about two years and I always have an excellent experience. This last time they came to service my unit for the winter. The prices are competitive. They're always on time. The service people are neat and clean. They're very good people, friendly and knowledgeable. They come ready to do the job. They talk you through the process. They did what they said they would do which is hard to get these days. It's a great company. more

Signed up for the $129 Comfort club. Tech came on 8-20-15. I point out a water overflow issue and suggested maybe the drain was plugged up. Tech couldn't find the external outlet, but said the problem was a cracked drip pan. Would order and install in about a week. 9--1-15 a different tech shows and offers me one of the 3 plans ranging from about $650 to $1250 and said the repair would be close to$550. WHAT! Why wasn't this explained to me??? I said no way; I’d check with the A/C guys first. The Tech said “Fine, the Boss would probably give you a call”. I never heard back from Hendrix’s. Later, I called the A/C guys who came over - they said it wasn't a cracked pan and it didn't look like the front panel was ever removed to check. Turns out that the drain line WAS plugged. They took care of it for a regular $90.00 service call. YIKES. I'll use my other service check in the spring of 2016 which I’ve already paid for, but no more "shady Hendrix Air for me. I used Hendrix Air for the first time to fix the motor in my unit because it wasn't running. They said they'd send someone over but he never came. I tried calling him but he didn't pick up so I called other people there. That's when they told me that he had a hurt shoulder. They sent a technician the next day, which raised the bill of the service. I was under the impression that when the person who was originally supposed to come fixed my unit, it'd be $218. It didn't make any sense to me why I would be charged more because they sent a different person over. The lady at the office, Ms. Erica, was wonderful about responding and treating you with respect but overall, my experience with them was just okay. more

When the service tech came to do the bi-yearly maintenance he was thorough, checking all the points that make the heat pump run efficiently. I believe the two heat pumps were checked properly and the tech was informative and friendly. more

Very quick change out and saved us money on unneeded parts by discounting them off estimate. ie new supply line not needed since test showed no leaks. more
