Brings back fond memories 3/15/2005

I have been coming to Gulliver's since 1984. Every time i com back, it conjures up great memories of my high school and college years. The pizza is one of top 5 in chicago, the variety of cuisine is as good as it is expanse. It just brings back memories my first date and group dates with my best friends back in the day. I don't have friendships as endearing as back in the day, but the food at Gulliver's is just as good today as it was then. A timeless classic in my book! Pros: Pizza, Food, Ambiance more

GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2/1/2005

I have been going to this establishment since 1979. We now travel from Lemont, Il and always order deep dish, sausage and cheese. We order it, "" not so browned."" The sausage is out of this world. Jerry, the owner and his wife are great. Jerry will sit down at your both and ask "" is everything okay"" and really mean it. Thank you for 26 years of good food and great memories. Our first date was there on 1/3/79 after seeing "" Superman"" the movie. We are now married for 25 years. You are a big part of our lives. Thank you. Pizza is Gullivers! more

One of the best places for Chicago pizza 8/4/2004

I've been eating at Gulliver's since I was about 3 years old, when we lived only a couple blocks away. My parents live in Skokie and still eat there religiously. They have a great outdoor patio that's perfect for warm summer nights, and even though commercial places like Giordano's and Gino's East are good, Gulliver's is my favorite place to go when I want real Chicago style pizza. This place is fantastic. Great pan pizza with a good selection of toppings. All the expected with PORTEBELLA mushies & SUN DRIED tomatoes for example. Very great food overall. Orgasmic atomsphere. Yes. Pros: style, quality, panpizza Cons: , Your not there now, needs to advertise more

By far the best pizza in Chicago. Deep dish, but not as greasy, commercial, or tacky as its more famous competitors. Everyone should try it! Pros: Good parking, Delicious, Inexpensive Cons: Away from Downtown more
