Gothic Cabinet Craft

This company is a complete scam. This early December, I ordered a sofa and the sales woman assured me that if something was wrong with the item, she will send it back to the manufacturer and issue me a store credit. After waiting 4 weeks, the sofa arrived and was completely defective and unusable. The delivery men left screws on the floor and a washer fell out of the back. They left my place quickly because I am sure they knew the sofa was defective. After feeling the fabric and cushions, I knew right away I was scammed. The sofa was hard as a rock, literally. The cushion stuffing sounds like cardboard inside. The fabric and stitching is cheap and extremely low quality. I called the sales woman the very next minute and she told me to wait two days for her to call back. She left a voice mail stating that she will not take the sofa back and no return or store credit will be given. Completely shocked, I asked her why she would lie to me and she hung up on me. I tried calling the main company phone number on the internet and they told me that they could not do anything and I have to go back to the store to figure it out. This sales woman called back with a vindictive attitude and loud ghetto tone. I just told her calmly that I will pursue a lawsuit for this insensitive scheme. I feel completely scammed out of a lot of money I saved up for a sofa after losing all my furniture during Hurricane Sandy. This is a terrible and dishonest thing to do to someone struggling and working hard to get back on their feet. This company is a disgraceful scam. more

This company is absolutely terrible. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. We purchased a sofa, which delivered 4 weeks later and looked absolutely nothing like it was supposed to. The dimensions were incorrect and it was the absolute most uncomfortable thing to sit on. It's a cheap piece of crap that also came damaged. And to top it off, they wouldn't take it back even when there policy allows store credit. They came up with some bs loophole where they took no responsibility for the piece. DO NOT EVER GO to the store on Flatbush ave and ave U in Brooklyn, the sales lady is the dumbest and meanest person on the planet.\r more

Amazingly poor and incompetent service. I ordered a bed from Gothic at Halloween and was promised delivery in 3 weeks. After multiple calls they finally set a delivery date in six weeks later in mid-December. I gathered some friends to help me unload the shipment, then sent them home when the wrong furniture was delivered. It took me several days to get Gothic to respond at which point they promised to send out a shipper to deliver my correct order and pick up the mistaken delivery. This was supposed to happen the first week of January. They never showed. After several angry calls, they were supposed to come the following week. Again, they never showed. This happened four more times and I haven’t seen my order yet. I’ve had to take several days off work in order to be home just so I could get stood up. Gothic has repeatedly lied to me and made promises they’ve never honored – three months after ordering my bed I’m still waiting for it to be delivered! Gothic doesn’t seem to care, so I’ve reversed the charges on my Visa and I’m shopping elsewhere. Avoid this incompetent and dishonest organization at all costs. more

Gothic has come a long way but something peopel dont know is they also do custom work. We had our kitchen done and a bathroom cabinet to fit. We had a more traditional look in mind and the pc. came out fab. They also have a great design center in westchester. more

They manage to have enough examples to give you a sense of what you are going to end up with, and the service is competent. The man who helped us was friendly, knowledgeable, and got it done. more

I needed a bed, I needed it fast and I didn't have a lot of $$. I'd seen ads for GCC and as it was so close to me, I headed over. They were so nice and hooked me right up with a great bed & mattress at a price I could afford. They delivered on time, set up the bed & mattress and took the packaging with them. I'm a happy sleeper now. more

Do you still manufacture your products in USA ??? Purchased platform bed more than 30 years ago,,,and believe me, it is still in fine condition,,,proves American made is built to last,,,,thanx more
